Funny that Trump used the same defense...that their (first) names begin with the same letter. That is very weak. They are not very similar, in any way, except that Trump hates them both. He hates them because he basically hates women, and especially women that oppose him. They are not exactly polar opposites, politically, but pretty close to it. Don't forget that Trump nominated Nikki Haley, successfully, as Ambassador to the UN. Pelosi has always been his nemesis. And he didn't just mix up their names...he conflated Haley completely with Pelosi, saying Haley's name over and over again, (he loves to repeat himself,) saying she was in charge of security. Now, let's just be clear: what happened on Jan. 6th is pretty important to the country, and to Trump. He's facing charges on that. He needs to be crystal clear about what happened on that day. And, also to be clear, he did NOT offer national guard troops. Pelosi and others begged him to send the National Guard, and he did nothing. Besides the lying, turning Nancy Pelosi into Nikki Haley in his mind on that day IS VERY DISTURBING!
Other than that,
@Federberg DID offer you a lot more to defend Biden, as to his record as current President. You're just choosing to ignore that.
And I'm not ignoring that Biden called out a congresswoman who had died, in a rally. Definitely thoughtless and unkind. Still, I don't see them in any way equivalent.
Trump IS a sex-offender. In SO many ways. You're not going to get anywhere with comparisons with Biden on this one. Seriously.
All of this talk of WW3 is something I see all over right-wing social media, and you parrot it. You've taken the position that Trump is a pacifist, or a non-interventionist. That might be true, on non-intervention. But your preference for a potential dictator over a politician surprises me. Trump sees himself above the rule of law, and keeps trying to get the courts to say so. If he gets back in power, there would be no stopping him. You may not care for US policy, at the moment, but woe unto all of us if the United States falls into autocracy. Until Trump, all US Presidents have believed that we are a democracy, believed in our Constitution, our transition of powers, that we are a nation of laws, and that no one is above the law. Trump believes in Trump. His party has allowed him the power to think so. Dante has a circle of Hell for the likes of all of them.
