Something cops also face on a day to day basis.

As for empathy, in answer to your question - I have zero empathy where innocent people are being attacked.
BB, please let George Floyd's family, Ahmaud Avery"s family, Tamir Rice's family, Sandra Bland's family and the hundreds of innocence African American victims of police violence know that you have ZERO empathy not this tennis board.

Moxie, you're in the right area with your comments

Moxie you're heading in the right direction. Let Tamika Mallory bring it home ,, listen very carefully BB.. Tamika's words are as direct as anyone's in history. Tamika touches every point and for just 3 min ,. Step outside your words and put yourself in the shoes of this person and everyone who has been oppressed by the
Oppresser.

Thanks for the video AP (I know you were talking to BB). But I took your advice, tried to step outside my word and listen carefully to the person.

Problem is that the very first phrase is questionable. "This is a coordinated attack". Do you realize exactly what this means? The problem with those kind of situations is that people affected simply cannot accept that other people might have a different diagnose of the same problem. So, yes, obviously this person feels this problem in a way I would never be able to, but, sorry, I simply cannot but the "coordinated" part. It is wrong. It is bullshit. All the rest looses a lot of its strength because of it.

People in general simply don't get what the real problem(s) with police force is (are).

Why would I need to tell them that innocent people shouldn't be attacked? I'm sure they are well aware of it already having experienced it at first hand.

Perhaps you should contact the families of the innocent people killed in the riots and explain to them that everything is fine and to show empathy to the killers.

While you're in the neighbourhood, tell those people who are having businesses burned and looted that it's all for the greater good.

I'm sure they'll give you a big hug and invite you around to Thanksgiving.

No prob Mrzz. Yes. It's way to obvious that the white supremacists have a coordinated attack hiding behind the shield of the police badges to kill African Americans..You know in your heart and soul it's true.Even look at the woman in central park who called the false police report on the black man who asked her to put her dog on the lease or look at the CNN reporter who was solely arrested because the color of his skin although he clearly identified himself as a reporter for CNN. No it's not bullshit it's truly coordinated. I have friends who are police officers in Chicago who are white and Filipino..they have confided in alot of us to be very careful.

BB. That's weak as hell and you know it..If you want to take the plight of the few people that have been "innocence killed" as oppose to the hundreds of thousands of people of color who has been oppressed then so be it.. What do you want the oppressed people to do, pray and wait for good white folks (and trust me there's a lot of good white folks) to come their rescue of the systemic racism that people of color experience every sec every minute every hour every day every week every month every calendar year, every decade, every century. No Enough is Enough. Your views are part of the problem not a solution. That's the God Honest Truth.

I think some folks are making assumptions about who is responsible for burning and looting. Some interesting comments coming out of Minneapolis for example. Not only are a lot of the businesses owned by black people but those responsible might not even be locals. Best to wait for the facts to come in I say. As an aside, an interesting bit of history in the Rodney King riots. A white journalist at the LA Times observed that a lot of the rioting and looting was actually being perpetrated by young white kids. He told his editor about it and wanted to do a write up. He was told that such a piece would contradict the "narrative". After hearing that I've always been a little bit cautious about jumping to the obvious conclusion.

I would also add that this whole episode puts the Kaepernick controversy into perspective. He just wanted to peacefully protest, and he was told that it wasn't the right way. Well what exactly is the right way. It's very easy for those in privileged positions to assert what the right way is. I don't believe there's a "right" way to protest. You protest because something is wrong. That's always struck me as a bit weird...

Well, I was thinking about that. If it is coordinated by some shit like KKK, well, I dare to say that this is good in a sense, because it would be dumb as it gets, and it means that those motherfuckers are going down -- there is no way in today's world that they would get away with that. Simply no way. (so, to be clear, the "good" part is that I think that, if this is true, this leads to those guys going down, the "going down" is the good part, not the death of a person).

What I disagree is that this is coordinated on a police scale, or in a larger political extent. That is the position that I find counter productive. Look, I live in a country where this kind of thing happens too. Just last week a 14 year old boy was shot by the police inside his home, by an assault weapon. The whole group were all surrendered already, smaller children were close, his mother was close. He was shot in the back (where did that happen? In Rio obviously). You guessed right the skin color.

But what do you think that happens if you let a heavily armed, underpayed, untrained and corrupt police force acting in a heavily populated area, with a insane crime rate, and a huge racial social-economical disparity? You don't need coordinated efforts for shit to happen. Actually, you need a miracle everyday for shit not to happen.

I didn't say it was right. I said that institutional violence against people for generations breeds violence.

That is a completely stupid view and the standard orthodoxy of white leftists who know nothing about American history or the history of the world - and yes, I am referring to you Moxie. You claim to believe in "science" with respect to "COVID" and then you believe in some completely irrational superstition like that?

The left ridiculously exaggerates how bad the black experience in America has been. Not even the most radical blacks of the 1960s who were objecting to segregation would agree with the modern left in its assessment of this country's history.

White leftists are more dangerous to the future of civilization than any demographic. They are ISIS times 1000. If the USA is truly an evil country, it is because of the white leftists it has bred and the influence they have had on the world.

Those are whites who agree with your stupid worldview, idiot. They are Antifa-style, Trump-hating white leftists trying to get in on the action. Are you too dumb to see the irony in that?

There is no doubt that both blacks and whites have been looting. Minneapolis and Portland are almost all-white cities dominated by white leftists who agree with Moxie's stupid worldview, so yes, in those places whites are heavily responsible. But if you're trying to downplay that blacks have participated in the looting too, then you're just a flat-out moron.

AntiPusher, you have now forced me to agree with Broken.....you really are dumb as rocks to post that video. Tamika Mallory is an ignorant, poorly educated, infantile moron. She would not deserve to even be in the presence of someone like Candace Owens.

She says that black people are not responsible for the mental illness inflicted on them by the American government. What the fuck is she referring to? The Democratic Party which has had total control over black areas for over 50 years because blacks have repeatedly voted Democrats into power? Is she aware that the left runs virtually every institution in our society? How dumb is she?

She says black people are dying across the nation? Is she referring to the 14-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy shot by other blacks in St. Louis last weekend? Is she referring to heavily black Baltimore having a murder rate that would be 4th highest in the world if it was its own country?

She wants not some, but ALL cops arrested. Okay, great. I wonder how that will turn out for black areas across the country where cops save black lives every day.

She says that Autozone and Target deserve to be burned down and they should have been in the streets with the protestors? What the fuck does that mean? They are department stores. A store can’t protest you fucking moron. And most retail chains stay out of politics, except for kowtowing to the left and brainwashing their employees non-stop in antidiscrimination ideology, which black leftists like Tamika the Dumbass believe in fervently.

She says that America taught black people looting and oppression. Is she that she fucking ignorant? Does she know anything about African history? Does she think Africans never fought a war with each other or practice slavery?

You, AntiPusher, are an absolute and total dumbass for agreeing with what she said in that video. And to Moxie – I have no problem with Candace Owens and Larry Elder voting, but I am not particularly excited by some absolute moron like Tamika Mallory ever voting. She is a total idiot and can only have a pernicious impact on the public discourse.

AntiPusher.....again, are you that fucking stupid? No one has denied from the start that whites are involved in the looting, but they are all left-wing morons who agree with you, Moxie, Federturd, BwokenWooWace, and Teeinted.

These are all white leftists that you are showing in your photos. They have the same moronic worldview as you and Moxie. They think everything is racist and homophobic and they want to destroy civilization itself. And they are doing a pretty good job of getting to that goal right now.

I would rather be stupid SMART and opened minded than a smart ass closed minded Right Wing extremist who see the world as an opportunity to help himself as oppose to trying to uplift the oppressed.

Cali..do you actually think I give a damn if you agree with what that cocksucker BS posts.. Tamika Mallory speech is what is needed for those who think this is an opportunity for looters to prosper.
Tamika's words well resonate in history a lot longer than you and what's his name..

Mrzz..thanks for your thoughts but you are trying to give a "reason " for these occurrences when the truth lies and resonate much closer and profoundly in Tamika's words.

This is a quote from Martin, which I've been hearing a lot today. Sadly, it's 50 years old, and still completely relevant:

…I think America must see that riots do not develop out of thin air. Certain conditions continue to exist in our society which must be condemned as vigorously as we condemn riots. But in the final analysis, a riot is the language of the unheard. And what is it that America has failed to hear? It has failed to hear that the plight of the Negro poor has worsened over the last few years. It has failed to hear that the promises of freedom and justice have not been met. And it has failed to hear that large segments of white society are more concerned about tranquility and the status quo than about justice, equality, and humanity. And so in a real sense our nation’s summers of riots are caused by our nation’s winters of delay. And as long as America postpones justice, we stand in the position of having these recurrences of violence and riots over and over again. Social justice and progress are the absolute guarantors of riot prevention.

AP, just ignore him. He's pretending to know the political affiliation of the people IN the photos. He also said this: "The left ridiculously exaggerates how bad the black experience in America has been. " Say what??! He's both baiting and hopelessly clueless about race in America. He pretends he's Mr. I Know More about Black Experience than All-Ya'll. Right.
