I don't know why he worked so hard to hold in the previous game, just to dump serve for the set. Now he can't even serve first in the 3rd.

The best thing is hopefully he can keep Novak on the court for another Couple of sets.

After returning Tini's serve all night, Nole should be in good form to deal with Sasha's serve. Two more matches and we could see the first calendar slam in over half a century.

Don't get stressed and lazy Matteo. Keep the foot on the throat. In bocca al lupo. E questo stronzo di serbo è un lupo.
‎Shame on you for way you express yourself about GOAT.‎

Glad to see Novak still calm after losing the first set. Bigger challenge awaits in SF.

Not so fast ole friend and former Rafa fan...the German was at the mountain's top last year but got derailed from look over by Dominic. Sascha believes he can defeat Novak. He was the only player besides Tsitspas who has the type of groundstroke that can "boss" Novak from the baseline.. ( Daniil Medvedev can also but he is a mental midget vs the Big Two ( Rafa and Novak) in the final which he displayed in the AO final earlier this year..That was an awful display of being gutless which I don't like saying because I like Medvedev's game. Sascha's game matches up better than Daniil's game because he is willing to come forward. The Russian is the opposite, he wants to hit the big serve but stay behind the baseline to try to out hit Novak which is impossible unless you are Rafa, Roger, Dominic or Stan. IMO

Against him you prepare that you have to play the best match that you can,” Zverev said of facing Djokovic. “You have to be perfect, otherwise you will not win.

“Most of the time you can’t be perfect,” Zverev added. “That’s why most of the time people lose to him.”

It's usually a good thing to keep a massive server like Tini under 60% on his first serve. The last three sets were some of the best tennis I've seen from Novak this year. Sasha's willingness to come to the net helps him, but he had better hope he meets first set Novak.
