Berrettini is due for a step-up against Djokovic. Given the stress, and how Brooksby played him, he has to figure he's in with a chance.

You know they do. They read this board in the past and I'm sure they revisit now and again.

Tense set, and Babycakes has had his chances. I hate to bring up the old cliche, but Berretini really needs this set.

Most definitely. Especially since he lost the last one 5-7

Djokovic’s play at this slam has been more not to win, but really playing in hopes that the other player wins it for him.

Oh, they do. I know it's not the most original idea, but Chris Cleary's headline in the NYT today was about who would be Novak's "Roberta Vinci," which I said 2 days ago. At the very least, we have our fingers on the pulse.

I agree. He's waiting on gifts. It's how he won RG and Wimby. I thought he was more aggressive at the AO. These next 3 matches will not be gifts. He will have to earn it if he wants 21.

An hour into this match, whoever doesn’t make a move soon is going to regret it against Zverev. I mean Djokovic is king of the fifth setters, but still.

This time. He pulls the trigger on the right FH. Breaks and will serve for the set 6-5
