I went with your guy Sinner. As I said tough choices this year. I feel like Rafa will not win and that left me with plenty to think about. Thought Alcaraz might summon his A game and go deep, but again he has possibly Coric in R3 and that could go either way. I have Medvedev - Fritz and Rafa - Sinner semis, Sinner and Meddy in final.

But again Rafa could win it after all. My early picks today are trash, hopefully it improves later. We will see.
Well after seeing himlose to FAA in Cincy, which he should have won in SS, the worst game I have seen him play in ages, you have more confidence in my young Italian than I do.

Korda is up now 5-1, but something is not right with Bagnis. His back is definitely hurting.

Yeah, that was disappointing. Actually none of the contenders did well this american HC swing, that is why is not easy to predict. I feel like for these young players is maybe even better not to win a big tournament before or do too well, just to keep the pressure down. Otherwise they come full of hopes into the slam and before you know it, they are on their way home. Still is better to be on a roll like Coric, but with young guys these days you just never know, hard to gauge how they will do.

Agree, these youngsters will either fire or burn out at the USO, Coric is the player that does have form on his side

I picked Coric to go out in the first round. A tough decision I didn’t want to make, and may very well regret it.
I can see your point why you had him going out in the 1st rd, lets see if he can keep up his level he showed at Cinncy,

Now another youngster who I have really become to like ever since I first saw him play a little bit ago. He is playing right now against Borges and I am talking about Ben Shelton. Not only do I think he is very talented, but I also think he is very hot. :p He is at a set a piece right now and trying to get into a tie breaker in the 3rd set.

Just finished watching the last couple of sets from PCB v Dominic Thiem
BCP won the 1st set 75...Dominic too many UFE 19 in the 1st set that did not help him at all

I am trying to rally around Ben Shelton in the 4th set. He is down 2 sets to 1 and is on serve in the 4th set right now. Not sure how he will do if this one has to go the distance.
