Venus played well today, and wore a very pretty tennis dress.

Ivanovic and Bouchard...*sigh.* They're as disappointing as Dimitrov, who at least is resurging.

Moxie --maybe the question now between the THREE of them is :

'who is the prettiest'.

Muguruza has failed to go past 2RD at Wimbledon and now the USO,I gave her a pass at Wimbledon after winning her first Major at RG,mentally she just goes away,also she needs to address her defense.

great point . considering that it was half her defense that gave her her FO against serena, isn't it? i guess it does take time for many to do well again to get to the late rounds in majors once they win their first. we do have examples;;

sampras, serena herself, nole too, sam stosur also, capriati, we;re still waiting for both delpo and cilic, ...

ESPN graphic tells us that Roger has the most Major wins (Open Era) with 307, Martina has 306, and Serena 305. I'll be surprised if Serena doesn't pass them both at this USO.

EDIT: So I guess now she has tied Martina.

I think this was a different year, but this one was very kick-ass:

If by that you mean "compared to anything interesting about their tennis," you may be right, and including Dimitrov.

exactly == hehe.

of course it's great that one of them actually DID win the FO.

but over-all - it's a contest between ''mirror, mirror on the wall -- who is prettier than DIMITROV? "

and mirror says _ -= no one my queens....

I was able to watch only Angie tonight, and she looked really good. Young Bellis gave a valiant effort but Angie was like a wall.

She faces Kvitova next. It should be a good match.
