Just googled this... reckon it must be genetics...

Double-elbowed forehand and backhand for Ms Kerber.

Welcome to the boards @BillayRambo!
Thank you

Most of my favourite players have retired now. My overall favourite is Juan Carlos Ferrero.

I like Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, David Ferrer, Jo Wilf Tsonga, Raunic and I'm beginning to like Jack Sock. I'm not really into women's tennis. Too much shrieking and not enough edge of the chair thrillers.

Today was pretty good though hey? (or yesterday depending where you are) - no shrieking and good women's final. Notice Masha wasn't on your list of faves :) I liked JC Ferrero. Men's final should be good.

Thank you that's very kind of you.

You are very welcome. I am sort of like you, prefer and love men's tennis more, but I am game for watching ladies when it is interesting. And during slams we have more TV coverage of women's tennis.

But tennis fans, whether women's or men's, are kind of unique from other sports' fans. Perhaps it's because we are cheering on 1 individual and not a team, so it gets a bit more personal.:D

Yes that is very true. I watch some ladies matches but they dont hold my attention as a men's match does. I don't mean this in a sexist way. It's just that men's tennis is just so much better. If you ask a tennis fan to name their favourite man the chances are very high it will be a men's match.
