I believe that gossip already entered earlier in this thread. Dating?
Possibly Mox. Forgive me if it's already been mentioned as I haven't been around much this weekend and haven't kept up w/ the thread.

Good stuff from Fed after a loose few games to start. Hopefully finish this in 3 and scoop up the corpse of Del Po on Wednesday. That's the hope anyways.

I wasn't paying that much attention but I guess he only went out for a bathroom break... wasn't it?

It was more than a bathroom break. The umpire announced Fed was taking an MTO off court.

It is despicable, these tournament directors love to pull out the red carpet for Rafa. Whether they are fans of him or just love the long boring baseline play who knows.

Glad it didn't work at Wimbledon in the slowest grass tournament imaginable. Just comparing these conditions to something like 2004 is a night and day difference. Like I said earlier it's a joke he's already won 5 slams off clay with his game.
I have to give you a hard time for this comment, which led to a lot of nasty comments about the tournament, the state of the draw, and the low level of competition that Rafa has faced, the bottom half has faced, etc., with a cursory mention of how it wouldn't even be great if Fed won. This is all blatantly setting up to put an asterisk on this tournament, should Rafa win it. Or at the very least a complete diss against the tournament that is my local, so I have to take umbrage. And, considering how many times you've called me "bitter," you are spitting bitterness about this one, as you were about Wimbledon, just until Rafa lost. You are transparent, but at least you cop to it, a bit.

Fed not aggressive on returns tonight, or much at all this tourney. I think he will need to step that up. Aside from that he is moving and hitting pretty well, best he's served so far too.

I don't deal with asterisks. There are none in sports. I think you're kidding yourself if my post is what led to people talking about the state of this draw. It's not Rafa's fault either, just a case where every seed in his quarter dropped feebly.

As for the tournament there is no denying they've slowed it greatly with using a heavier ball over the years. Yeah I will bitch about it because I enjoy good attacking tennis of course and very few tournaments left reward it properly.

On very rare occasions can fanatics of a particular player/team be un-biased and/or objective.

Nice game to break there. Most aggressive hitting all match which is a nice sign. Now to serve it out.

No, she is not. You are our true leader in the crusade. The infidels have clearly identified it. We shall burn them all. Prepare the asterisks an the pentagrams.
