I got to go out to the Open for a bit today, before work so rudely intruded, but I agree with everything you've said about the match and the players, FB. Right from the start we thought it could go 5 sets. Shapo is very exciting, brave and talented, but still lacking in discipline...just really goes for it. PCB has turned out to be a better player than I thought he'd be, but it was his maturity that won him the match. He played all of the breakers better.PCB is just playing adult tennis here. This is a valuable lesson for Shapo. He won't like this, but I'm sure in the future he'll think back and be grateful for the quick education he's getting
Didn't get to see this one, but they said that Schwartzman was definitely in bad shape after the first two sets. (Cramps?) Morataglou said that Pouille would have much to be disgusted with himself for not staying focused and taking advantage of the situation. But Pouille is a bit of a head case.Well Poulle's in trouble and needs a huge comeback! Took the 3rd, but he's got a lot more work to do!

:lulz2:He's French; most are better than the air space in their heads! Monfils, Tsonga, and Gasquet should have won a lot more than they did over such long careers! I thought Pouille was even better after he defeated Nadal last year in 5, but he's been a real disappointment; sorta like Grigor! Too many options and can't get their minds to stay on the task at hand! :cuckoo:
OK, to each his or her own. To me he's a bit shaggy and goofy and looks like a skateboarder more than a tennis player, but it's cute. I did mean to say that the word is out on him, though, (his other version of "hot,") and the crowd was very much on his side from the beginning. I had to shout for Pablo just to even things out a little. And he's HOT as HELL; in more ways than one! :devilfinger:
This is so true. @Federberg is a moron.

Fedal have 70% chance (37+33) and the field has 30% chance now.

Querrey looked damn good. I'm a Kevin Anderson fan. But, as much as I'd love to see Anderson win, speaking as an American, I won't be too terribly upset if Querrey should happen to win.Very impressive Querrey! 1 hr. 17 minutes. He's got to be the favorite to get out of the bottom half.
