Those New Yorkers are loud as hell. No surprise the sound is driving the players wild.
I just don't understand the "noise" complaint by these guys, especially when a lot of them play Davis Cup.

Apparently because Ashe is so big when the roof is closed the noise is pretty difficult to deal with as the echoes don't allow them to hear the ball off their racquet

Tiafoe's backhand slice is really ugly...

He surely was not trained by good technical coach when he was young.
I see now Russel and Ginepri in his box. They just retired, not sure how good coaches they will be, so how much they will be able to correct the technical flaws in Frances game.

Well, Federer slowly getting better. Started like total shit, then shit, then improved shit, and now he is just playing really bad. Hope he can end up playing decent.

Only highlights are the occasional forehands.

Different kind of sound though. It's just constant echoes of thousands of people whispering.

The last 4 or 5 games he's looking like himself. Took him awhile to ditch the turtle movement and garbage backhand

Tennis players (or maybe just tennis fans?) seem to bitch about everything...Balls too light, balls to heavy, "homogenized" surfaces, crowd noise, roof closed conditions vs. roof open conditions, ad nauseum. In what other major sport must conditions be so perfect/ideal?

Lajovic was meant to be a girl I guess when the parents did the baby scan and they planned to call her Susan. Turned out the docs were wrong and she was a he and their choice for a boy was David. They decided to improvise with Dusan I guess. A combo of both :p

You should to apply now the same story to Tiafoe :lulz2:

OK, I've been away with work. I tried to read over the recent, to see how things went but not so helpful, what with the less than impartial comments. How was Rafa, and how is Roger looking?
