What a terrible scheduling? I wanted to watch Fed match and Vika match and was hoping they will be night match as I had to go somewhere in the afternoon. But, both of them are placed in day session.

I should have known better. They save big matches for day time on sat, sun and mon as these are holidays.

Wow, they would have gotten more for their money from the Roger and Vika matches than the other two matches they chose for the night matches.

Tomic is not invested in this match at all, a shame really, he's been doing quite well this year. I think he's turning the corner despite this performance.

Btw there was an incredible shot by Gasquet I'm sure will be in every highlight reel, he hit the ball past the post, got a high 5 from tomic in the process.

Edit: I just noticed pavlik posted the shot

Shame when two players you like are playing. Wish they could both win as I like Kohlschreiber.

Yeah that's true, think of it this way though: imagine two players you don't like playing each other. A whole lot worse. Eg Ferrer-Nadal

Given that dropping an atomic bomb on the court isn't an option I often just choose not to watch!

Berdych - Garcia Lopez is a very tight match so far. Two TB, split, so it is 1-1 and on serve in the third.

For whatever reason, Garcia-Lopez leads the H2H against Berdych 3-2 so this match is a bit of a tough one maybe for Tomas. He pulled that 2nd TB out somehow and now maybe can get through.

GG Lopez is a good baseliner and he can move well sideways absorbing the balls pace coming from Tomas racquet.
Tomas has to be very accurate and not going for too much. Tomas broke GG tyo open the 4 set, but now Guillermo broke back.

Federer wins in straights. Was broken a couple of times though. Still looks so solid. Gets Isner or Vesely next.

Vesely retires vs. Isner. The 14th retirement from the men's tournament. Nuts.

Some players complained about the AC in the locker room, making them sick. They might be recirculating bacteria there. Is it a closed system like in the airplanes?

I can imagine! I haven't missed taking a flight in almost 10 years for that reason along with offended by being herded like cattle! I'll be damned if I pay for the privilege to be assaulted through security checks that are a joke! :nono
