Anybody looking forward to watching Mr. personality push his way to win tonight. At least he won't cramp. Those gyrations were hysterical.

Harrison is such a punk. He will NEVER amount to much of anything. He loses the tiebreak and can't even hit the ball over the net from there on out.

Roger's won TBs and lost the next set 6-2 as well. Often :cry So it's not just Harrison.

Round 1 is now over for all the american men on play.

There were 12 of them in the main draw. Nine of them lost and three of them won.
That makes it a 25% success rate in round 1.

The three left are John Isner, Sam Querry and Tim Smyczek.

John Isner and Sam Querry had regular entry and Tim had a wild card (although
he would have got direct entry if it was based on the rankings at the start of USO).

Sam Querry plays GGL in R2 and most probably that is the end of the road for him.

Tim Smyczek plays RBA in R2 and most probably that is the end of the road for him.

John Isner plays struff in R2 and is expected to win that.

In R3, John will lose to Kohly as he did in the last two opens (oh boy, what are
the odds of that; losing to the same player in the same round for three consecutive
seasons). :puzzled

Then all the americans can hold their hands sing Kumbhaya! :laydownlaughing

We will have an American free second week at USO. :lolz:

Mmm, no. A punk doesn't win 17 slams. This kid is gutless.

And emotionally unstable. He's his own worst enemy. He needs a sports psychologist stat.

No matches I'm willing to stay up late for tbh although the flashy but inconsistent Bellucci wouldn't surprise me if he beat Stan.

Chardy is gone and Kavcic will play the winner of Wawrinka and Bellucci.

They've only played once, and it was five years ago, on clay. Bellucci won, but that doesn't mean anything at this point.

Stanimal's match to win or lose. Simple as that.

Yeah, nothing at all and clay is also by far Bellucci's best surface. It's also one of Stan's best but Stan has clearly improved a lot more than Bellucci who I've always thought has underachieved. He can be very good at times but so inconsistent. Mind you Stan's 2014 has been the picture of inconsistency.

Well it's late enough now so I might as well watch some of that match at this stage.

Venus is storming through her match, so Stan & Bellucci (agree he's an underachiever) could be on court soon.

Yeah, quite surprised she's flying through that match. Didn't think she would. Getting a bit tired to watch more than an hour of tennis now to be honest.

^ Same here. Never really liked watching Berdych. Something about the way he moves around the court that annoys me. Dunno why. Maybe it's his posture :D
