I see an order of magnitude improvement in Rafa's performance compared to his recent past performance. Rafa's serve seems to be much more solid than before. His movement seems better.
His overall confidence and body language are better. While he still hits some short balls, their total number and frequency are quite low. I am surprised to see no Nadalites commenting on the good news. It looks like I am more excited by Rafa's performance today than Nadalites.
Of course, in this tourney Rafa's upper limit is QF. However, I think he will go out to Milos/Lopez though. After a fairly tough opener, Rafa has a easy secod round opp. in the form of Schawartzman.
The 3rd round ocould be a familiar foe.
While Rafa is not going to do anything big in this tourney, still the improvement means something. It means, he is going to be back in 2016 as a contender.
Vamos Rafa. :clap
