You know the drill. This is your one-stop place to discuss upsets before, during and after they happen. Primary purpose is to act like NFL Zone alerting others to catch it live on time.

The schedule for opening day is out. I would expect at least 3 of the following 5 matches to end in upsets, given in order of decreasing chances.

1. Lukas Rosol might oust Sam Querry.
2. Gulbis might take out Jack Sock.
3. Bjorn Fratangelo might cause misery to Grigor who is on a 5 match losing streak.
Bjorn is a young chap and being a qualifier has already won three matches in a row.
4. Dudi Sela might oust David Ferrer for whom grass was never green.
5. Sam Groth might take out Kei, especially if he is rib-less. This match is given a
nice description in SI: Serve and a prayer vs. Everything but serve. :)

Feel free to chirp, if you smell other upsets.

I'm not sure Bjorn will like your version of his last name. ;)

David Ferrer is really slowing down. I think his days as a top 10 player are over.

How about Coric vs. Dr Ivo

I don't think so, but to each his/her own.

See the video posted on the Wimbledon discussion thread. Dr. Ivo is the best server ever and coric has no WMD. It ain't going to happen, at least not on grass.

Thiem-Mayer rematch looks interesting too

Yep, but that is only on Tuesday.

But, Thiem will right the ship and win it this time. Last time, he was too tired. Now, he is coming back after a week's rest.

This year, Wimbledon features lots of interesting first, second and third round matches also, unlike the boring RG we had.

Sela looked pretty good when I saw him at Notts and Ferrer does look a bit in decline recently. I wouldn't be overly surprised if we see an upset

Chardy versus Monfils (honestly, in my book Monfils winning this one is an upset) and Tipsarevic vs Simon are two obvious ones.

Did you not hear his miraculous story of qualifying for the main draw? Ranked #775! He could meet Fed in round 2. As if he didn't need any extra motivation to win his first round match.

Querrey finally converted another break point and serves it out.

Kevin Anderson (20) loses to Istomin in five.

I called for 5 upsets and got none of them. To boot, all of them except Rosol vs. Querry ended in straight sets. :cover Just like, David Cameron, I accept my failure and resign (for a day). Someone else call the upsets on day 2.
