Pliskova strikes me as another player unwilling (or unable) to play great tennis on the biggest stages. In 4 years of Slam play, she's never gotten past the third round.

I know... Venus has been like this since 2004 and as one of her biggest fans ...she can be frustrating.I remember that I used to go for a drive just before her matches just to protect my heart...now I am used to her messy play and pretend not to care if she wins or not.:cover

No, I am not talking about Venus in particular here. I am just generally commenting based on the bolded part. The reason is, in general, Serena has more trouble with unsuspecting players with almost no resume, as opposed to seeded and/or well known players.
