Hey Denis, that's very generous, you'd gift Rafa the 2011 US Open final!

Tell me, are we talking asterisks here? :snigger

Nope. You guys are speculating about what if. Novak beat your boy badly in that final.

PS: Funny how the title of this thread keeps popping up at the top, somehow it's kind of amusing as it's not really related to the discussion.

Well, if your system was in place, Nole wouldn't have had his MTO, and might have had to withdraw, or suffer. I'm glad neither happened. I have no complaints about that final, it was a great performance by Nole, and Rafa did very well to take a set. He was swept away in the first two. Regarding the MTO's, I think it's good for fans who pay in, that a player might receive a treatment that helps them finish the match.

Yeah, the title of the thread is troll-speak, a language that soon thins out once the conversation happens... :)

Are you really just that incapable of offering arguments or do your emotions get the better of you each time?

I laid out the pros and cons of a medical timeout, and asked you a question: When was the last time a match's outcome was affected by a questionable medical timeout? All you can do is taunt fans of a player that your guy beat him two years ago. OK, bravo. What does that have to do with anything?

Another question: How many matches do you watch where there IS a medical timeout at all, be it legitimate or otherwise.... 5%?

I'm really asking, because all I hear in this thread is "MTO's should be banned because Nadal abused them years ago." And yeah, I'm sure you, like others, will point out that it's not just about Nadal...but then the only examples you're bale to provide are from Nadal...none being more recent than 2010.

Anyway...my questions are obvious.

Seems like Uncle Toni has been behaving for a while, any news on this front? Any comments on how the Australian open should be played on clay?

Any comments from mama Djokovic about the king being dead? It took her 7 years, but she seems to be right. Better late than never.

Any recent editions of mini-me T-Shirts by papa Djokovic? Any similar T-Shirts with his grandson's face on them?

What's Novak's thoughts on Nadal being "beatable" at the FO? He's only since had 29132932 shots at him at that tournament...

Any recent news about papa Djokovic storming the commentating booth in Serbia because the commentators aren't being biased enough towards his son?

What's the status of Marco Djokovic's wild cards?

Pressing questions. I demand answers.

The king is alive and well, and working hard to regain full fitness and form. Once he achieves that, the seat-warmer will have to shift his arse again... :popcorn

So perhaps we could all be quiet about it? :)

I must have it wrong, I thought Rafa was the ultimate seat-warmer given his all time record for weeks at #2. #1 never suited him too much :snicker

You're not seat-warming when you're #2, brother - you're seat-watching... ;)
