Did the court say No1e had a legal right to enter Australia? Maybe you're above the great Australian court.

But we won't talk about that. I'd rather talk about your hatred which is obvious.
In the end, the court didn't say that Novak had a legal right to be in Australia.

As to "hatred," I would be cautious with that word. This is just a sport, my friend. I think Novak is a great, great tennis player. I have trouble with many of his choices, on and off court. I am within my rights to debate them, as are you.

This gets silly as many don't really care about records.. so we posting links of rankings? plenty who have novak at #1 in GOAT race too...

any person with an IQ over 70 would pick Djokovic purely based on accomplishments. Record weeks #1, record masters wins, tied for record EOY Atp cups, tied for slam record, only player of the big 3 to hold all 4 slams at once and closest to get the calendar slam. His prowess on all surfaces surpasses Nadal and even edges Federer. He has the most complete game ever.... Hi achieved highest peak elo rating ever and arguably most dominant year ever. He has been the most dominant over a decade too... He has a winning record vs big 3... i mean, it goes on and on. Any objective person would pick Djokovic

of course, excuse making is a serious offense here. 'Nadal injured a lot'... ah... what a beauty. Plenty of excuses go around. Novak wasn't even fit between 08-11.. retiring from matches, lacking stamina... he changed his diet in '11 to address gluten allergy and became fitter. What if he would've done this on 08? shall we give him an addiiional 3 slams at least? that's not a lot for 3 years... he was injured in 17-18, a serious elbow injury... lost maybe 2 slams there. tossed out of US for s silly ball throw, 1 slam there... banned from two slams in '22.. 2 slams... Let's just give him 4-5 slams more if all would've gone perfect... 27 slams? how much shall we give Rafa had he not been injured? keep in mind peak rafa met peak novak in '11 and was owned.

OK. I think I characterized you as an antiNo1e fan. Let it stay that way.

I don't think "impact on tennis" should be considered a criteria when weighing the greatness of a player - as a player. GOAT is about performance, play, ability and accomplishments on court.

As an icon? Sure, but that's a different thing. And then, of course, Federer's impact reigns supreme because he not only had an impact on tennis as a whole, but on the young pups Rafa and Novak. So in a way it is a pyramid scheme, and Roger gets some of their "impact earnings." ;)
I was taking about impact between Djokovic and Nadal only because they both tied on 22 used as tiebreaker for these two players.

^Federer bit too far behind for this argument in my opinion.

I don't agree Federer had biggest impact of big 3 and Definitely not all time.

For me it's borg or laver all time biggest tennis icon.

This era debatable between Nadal, Djokovic and Federer I personally don't see clear winner.

I go Nadal for biggest icon because he's most inspiring of big 3. and made tennis entertaining again after boring 2004-07 era.

Nadal rivalry with Federer got tennis to new heights and then Djokovic. he's at least 60% the reason why tennis got little bigger.

In Nadal had most social media followers even then Federer was playing.

Nadal made tennis entertaining again post 2007 and Is most inspiring the Ultimate warrior and people's champion.

Djokovic really changed tennis in 2010s with amazing pure baseline ever seen before in tennis. taken the game to new heights and he has best story coming from war to be the Goat.

Federer classic style and shot makings is amazing however I don't see how he's impact on tennis is bigger than Nadal or even Djokovic. Who both more popular with younger Generations from my Experience.

For me biggest icon or impact isn't about popularly in Federer case it's more about that the player did for tennis and their impact.

In my opinion Nadal impact is on par with Federer if not greater and maybe Djokovic to.

Nadal and Djokovic are going to more remembered compared to Federer in future because most casuals only care about who won most Championships.

And historically wise its players with most impressive Careers that get most remembered and become biggest icons.

How can you say such stupidity?
The Australian government deported him for being in the country under illegal terms, such that he was a menace to society. That's not stupidity, it's fact. I know you don't like it, but that IS what happened.

Surely, there is no such thing as an "Anti-Nole Fan." I'm a Nadal fan, as you know. I have plenty of issues with your man. But here's the thing: it's not my job to support your guy, it's yours. It's not my job to like him, either. If you want support for him around here, why don't you stick around? There's an idea, huh? :light-bulb:

That is not answering my question, that is complete nonsense Novak is from 'outer space'

Is Craig Tiley part of No1es team?
If he is not, and we know he is not, what is his interest in lying whole World?
Maybe you should be interested who told him what was on the MRI so we can find a No1es fan there?

I find it quite unprofessional that a tournament director would come out and say such things to begin with?
I want to know where he got this information from to start with., this has 'Never' happened before.
Usually that type of information would come from Novak and his team.
As I stated from an expert at the hospital that I work at...who is a Orthopedic Specialist, it is inconceivable that a athlete could play with a tear like that.
BTW many people share my view, and are now questioning it as well.,bottom line is people do not believe Novak had a tear that bad to begin with
Craig Tiley is just putting out the 'fires and rumors'., he should not have commented on it in the first place. in my opinion and others BTW, it is not his place to do so.

Big lie. Read the disposition of the judgment one more time, and if your English is good (even a thousand times better than mine, which I believe) you will find the truth.

That has nothing to do with it, anti Noles fans,I will repost again,
I will leave you with this from the Orthopedic Specialist,at my hospital who also works with many athletes in varied sports,
" I hope Djokovic and his team write a paper for the medical and sport worlds laying out what treatment/physio they used to overcone an injury that normally stops anyone from taking part in a physical sport"

I'm no legal scholar...why don't you tell us what the judgement against him was really for, then. This is what the NYTImes said.

There are a million ways to answer Craig, don't tell me. I did not announce this to the whole World.

Judge Anthony Kelly has ruled that No1e be released from immigration detention within 30 minutes. He says the visa cancellation decision will be quashed and the government will have to pay his costs.

That was the first part, I guess. Did you forget the 2nd part?

I saw that post from Craig Tiley yesterday? he is not a doctor for starters and how can he read a MRI scan for starters and how/ and why did he gain access to that information in the first place?
As I am a medical professional, I asked one of my Orthopedic specialists at the hospital I work at about a athlete playing with a 3cm hamstring tear last night while I was on duty at the hospital.

His answer was his should write a paper for the medical and sports world laying out exactly what treatment/physio they used to overcome an injury that normally stops anyone from taking part in a physical sport.
Could well have been cortisone injections which are banned in competition but they clearly bend the rules with TUES at the top. Imagine was the same with Nadal's foot injections at RG 2022. Quite possibly with both nearing the end of their careers they let it slide or they simply turn a blind eye as I said about bending the rules due to the revenue these 2 pull. Modern society is a corrupt cess pit as the last 3 years have pointed out more than ever as money trumps everything else.

Just reading the comments, I think Novak is now just a tennis ball in the Fedal Wars. Federer fans have become partial to him.

Also, I think goat obsessions are great but they’re making sports conversation a little skewed. During the World Cup we had the bizarre suggestion that if Messi won the World Cup, he’d become goat. Messi didn’t win the World Cup - Argentina did. But Messi scored the opening penalty in the shoot out. After this, he had no say in the outcome. Argentina might have missed the rest of their penalties and France won. Would this outcome mean that Messi was a lesser player than he was when he scored his penalty? But because Goat talk rules everything in sports now, to some people it would have. And all this going on while Pele was dying in his bed. Most of the people invested in crowning Messi never seen Pele or Maradona play, they just want the goat to be a modern player, so they too can somehow participate…
