Medvedev made fakervic his permanent mistress after beating him like a cheap whore at USO 21. Faker will never be able to erase that stain from his life.
Well he beat Medvedev in Paris, so that’s not a bad reply, in their first match since the USO…

Let's hope the guy in your avatar gives him a proper beatdown at RG. AO would be even better. These fakertards need to be put in their place.

Well, I’m assuming that Novak will be in Australia, so I’m hoping it’s there, but Rafa needs good prep before then. He’s playing that lucrative exo in the Middle East soon, and thankfully he’s skipping the ATP Cup, but hopefully he gets the right balance between getting match fit and also keeping his sharpness. His preparation for Oz has generally been poorly thought out…

This is a bit of a sea-change for you when your signature was all about hating Nadal. Protect the legacy at all costs, I suppose.

Better Nadal than the Serbian jester and his cult "Nolefam".

OK, got it. And out of morbid curiosity, does this have anything to do with tennis, or just Djokovic contending hotly for the GOAT mantel?

It might surprise you to know that I do have some respect for Nadal for beating a prime Federer in Wim 08 and AO 09 unlike the Serbian pusher who beat Fed when he was playing without a forehand, not to mention his complete fluke wins like USO 11 and the worst of them all Wim 19. Djokovic is scavenging records since 2014 without a younger ATG to challenge him but it's become particularly worse since 2019. And his arrogant fans are even worse than Nadal fans. They're pricks for no good reason. Though I don't like your skepticism towards my character.

tldr; It's better the GOAT mantel stays in the Fedal "family" rather than an outsider scavenging it away.

I appreciate your response. Interesting. BTW, I have no opinion about your character, but your posts are pretty trollish.

All Five Setters:
Roger 33-23 (59%)
Rafa 22-13 (63%)
Novak 35-10 (78%)

Five-Set Finals:
Roger 5-9 (36%)
Rafa 6-4 (60%)
Novak 4-1 (80%)

Five-Set Slams:
Roger 31-17 (65%)
Rafa 19-12 (61%)
Novak 32-9 (78%)

Five-Set Slam Finals:
Roger 4-5 (44%)
Rafa 3-3 (50%)
Novak 4-1 (80%)

Five-Set Slams vs. Top 5 Opponents
Roger 4-8 (33%)
Rafa 5-3 (63%)
Novak 12-3 (80%)

OK, what strikes me is that while Roger is weaker than Rafa in five-setters, it isn't hugely so. But what really stands out is how good Novak has been.

Conclusion: Roger is not a mental midget, although is mentally weaker than the other two. And more to the point: Novak is a mental giant. His results in five-setters are ridiculously good.

Rafa in 5 setters is kind of a curious thing. At one point he was 15-3, his only losses being his first Masters final Miami, 07 Wimby, and a loss to Hewitt as well.

Since then he has only won 7 out of his last 17 played.

Age/fitness is surely part of it. But both Federer and Djokovic have gotten better at five setters, or at least have mainly remained constant over the years.

I bet you loved Rafa even more in 2009 when he was injured, handing Federer a couple more unopposed slams to go win the bunch he won before Rafa hit his prime?

Yea that was a huge surprise, wasn’t it? I remember a BBC man stating, absolutely without irony, that Federer was even more remarkable because at the age of 35 he’d added stamina to his game :lulz1:

It was ,I didn't expect it. Nadal was running away with it in the fifth set. That turnaround was crazy helped a bit by Nadal's own decline. I was shocked by Nadal's play in 2017 and onwards because I thought he was done in 2016. I'm the last person to count Nadal out but his level of play had dropped so sharply in 2015-16 that I thought he was done.

Oh well what does it matter. All that good work was undone because of Wim 19 F. Fed basically flushed his entire career down the toilet with that defeat. What a horrific way to end your career, no closure for him or his fans like me. Atleast Nadal fans never had to endure such a painful ending.

Infact I don't even watch tennis anymore. Just post and troll on tennis forums, that's it.

The BBC journalist wasn’t being ironic, but I was. Professional sportsman don’t usually add stamina in their mid thirties…

Somehow I have the crazy belief that Roger's career amounts to more than just 2019 Wimbledon. I know, I'm nuts.

I don't know if you're nuts or not but platitudes like these sure make you sound like one. Losers talk like this. And ofcourse the dulltard Moxie likes your post because she enjoys gloating over Federer's defeat.

The fact that a player like Federer finds himself tied with two low talent pushers at 20 slams says it all.

It's interesting how some Fed fans, having decided that Roger's career is over, like to think that Nadal's is, too. You can give up on your man, if you like, but I haven't given up on mine. As to the bolded above, since you admitted it, you can stop accusing me of besmirching your "character."

Anyone who thinks that a career gets undone by one match (even Zidane's) is not a fan of sports, but a sore-loser fanboy. And, hey, monfed, what happened to our Kumbaya moment? :-)2

Zidane's career wasn't undone by that match, his was a disciplinary action. Not the same for Federer. But I'm not surprised a one-eyed tard like you can't tell the difference.

Clay specialist has one last shot with RG 22 if RG 21 wasn't his end. Your desperation to talk shit about my character reflects in your inability to take my comment at face value. Go play catch with someone else now.
