I did not watch the whole video. So, don't think I am questioning you. But, can you give me the time point in the video where Roger says it.
At the 9:40 point, Roger simply says "Rafa is a great player - who would have thought he would be #1 this year...………..", but I did not hear him saying Rafa is the greatest player of all time.
Try to endure to 10:30, then, and you'll hear it...though, what he said, as quoted more than once above, "maybe" the greatest player of all time.

It doesn't matter who said it. The fact remains on clay was omitted.

I wouldn't put any stock in players being nice to each other but it's reaaaaaaaaaally funny to hear you say "it doesn't matter" who said something about GOATness when the person who said it is the current GOAT. Seems to me like it matters a whole lot.

Wimbledon 2008 came to be called as the "greatest match" due to two reasons a) what was at stake and the story-line going into the match
and b) the drama it provided. But, it had nothing to do with the quality of tennis.

Fed fans have really managed to shove the idea that Wimbledon 2008 was some sub-par match, quality wise. I agree with you that its greatness largely had to do with the drama and what's at stake, but the last 3 sets were absolutely stellar tennis. The first two were tense but Roger was playing below par. Just because one person could have played better doesn't mean the quality wasn't great. There was a weird push from Nadal fans that Roger played his best and loss, which is certainly not true. It wasn't his best, but it was still good enough to produce a great match.

All the top guys play to the media and tell them what they want to hear. It's boring and robotic. I prefer the Gulbis style of I don't give a fuck about anyone keep it real type media interviews personally. He's honest at least. Kyrgios too.

No I agree, but saying it doesn't matter if Roger Federer said something re: Nadal's status in the GOAT debate is a bit rich.

It is certainly a great match. I agree with that. But, calling it "the greatest tennis match ever" is total hyperbole.

In the sense that calling anything the "greatest ever," then, including one tennis player, is hyperbolic. But there is a reason that the NYTimes put that match on the front page of the paper the next day, that Jon Wertheim wrote a book about it and that Tennis Channel made a two hour documentary on it.

Nadal could have won that 2008 Wimbledon final in straight sets... but just like this year at the 2019 USO he cared about the public and wanted to extend the match and give them a classic... Nadal is so generous and thoughtful

Slam H2h: Nadal>Novak>Federer

Haha again your selective h2h.
Where is your weeks at No1?

actually he didn’t achieve anything you are trolling about.
If he reach slam record, overtake Novak in h2h, overtake both in weeks no1 then we can talk.
If it’s truth what you are praying for, he should hold every of these records, and shouldn’t lose any match ever.
Let me guess: His losses are all because of injury? Am I right?

where is respect from you for anyone than your hair loosing god?
I for example can respect someone who I strongly dislike.
How can you expect respect and normal conversation when always trolling/provoking?

For the hundredth time, if you want to mention “slam titles” then you should mention with it “slam h2h”, but if you want to mention “overall titles” (which you never do) then you can mention with it “overall h2h”. Even my dog understood the logic by barking in agreement so I am really hopeful that one day you will too. :bye:

You should communicate more with people not with your dog, maybe you can get it then lady.
The 3 are dominating tennis for a long long time, they are above all others by far. So it’s crystal clear for every human being with IQ over 100, that their inter-individual / personal h2h counts, let me spell it to you: every single match they played against each other counts! Your god is behind.
He lost most of his last matches against a 38y old and overall more against Novak, also most of their recent slam matches.

Then it means that every single tournament they played counts including atp250, atp500!

Therefore Connors is the GOAT so stop mentioning slams!

You can't keep using h2h in atp250, 500, 1000 and then in the same post focus only on slam titles and not also on atp250, 500, 1000 titles! Get it???? :cuckoo:

Yes I can , it’s a comparison of the 3 you genius.
I don’t talk about your goat shit. You pray Nadal, and I show you he isn’t gold in many and different ways.
Where did I only focus on slam titles?

you posted Nada1, D2kovic and F3derer, I asked you where is he no 1? And gave examples where he isn’t.
