Exactly and Nadal is the only active player to have at least 2 slams on each surface. Thanks for pointing out his multi-surface greatness.
And Novak is the only active player who won all 4 Majors in a row..
I will not talk about the h2h against this great human being you are living for;).

It doesn't matter what you say about Novak.Fed fans will still argue that he wasn't able to defeat Roger consistently until Roger was passed his prime..If you doubt what I am saying, put the "Bat signal" up for DarthFed

I will take the bait. The h2h as a pure number is meaningless unless both players are roughly around the same age. If you want true comparison between two players (ignoring the dreadful GOAT debate), you have to restrict the h2h to the period where both were in prime. When you do that, it is pretty easy to see that Roger > Novak.

No it's not pointless and the age difference between Roger and Rafa doesn't matter.. Rafa's h2h came while Fed was in his early prime. Novak's h2h occurred afterwards Roger's prime. Ask El Dude..he is more of historian than almost anyone..I would think he would support my argument even as begrudgingly as it may kill Him to agree with me.

Yet again you praise his 4 majors in a row but don't use the h2h in majors. :bye:

Maybe you should restrict a h2h record to underline your wishes.
They still compete on high levels and play for the biggest titles. Pre-prime, prime and post prime phases are subjective to analyse.
You say roger is in post prime, now he beats Nadal more than loses, should this be excluded? No , he adapted his game. So did Novak and Nadal.

Agree , and you are absolutely right about some fed fans like the numbers-boy.
Also true is that the early results of Nadal and Federer against Novak came while Novak was in his pre-prime. So we can continue endlessly.
All of them still play seriously and competing for the biggest titles and records, they meet mostly in SF and F, and beating everything else in most cases.
Therefor all matches count.
For me a truly damn interesting question is not to compare "prime periods", whatever that is, than to compare peak-level of play. But thats a completely different story/discussion. I am sure also this one is not consistent to be answered in this forum or elsewhere between different fan groups.
If we could believe Nadalfan2013`s god to whom he prays, we Know the answer;-):.

Depends on who.
For me it woud be perfectly fine, if Novak stays in front with the most wins against both.
If not, congrats to the other two.

Again you mix topics.
This was about your 2slams on each surface crap!
You want to start h2h discussion again?

This was your reply to me so you're the one brought up the h2h when I was talking about 2 slams on each surface:

Your reply:

So you obviously again are implying that Novak leads Nadal in the overall h2h, so I said that you can't talk about 4 majors in a row and then imply something about overall h2h and not the majors h2h...

h2h Novak - Nadal = 28:26, is there any question who leads?
You couldn’t read between the lines?? The first sentence was the reply to the 2slam point, the second one was about our discussion yesterday about the h2h facts, therefore the ;) to underline the irony, we both agreed it’s waste of time.

So you admit that you're the one who brought it up again so don't pretend it was me… :cuckoo:

Good luck with Novak winning 5 more slams... :lol6:

You may have noticed that the statistic is about titles won without dropping a set. Anyone would expect this would happen often as not on a player's best surface. How many of Roger's and Novak's are on HC? It's not a statistic that needs to be well-distributed across surfaces.

In other words, dull has not won anything outside clay without dropping a set and neither has fakervic.

Meanwhile Fed has won Wim 2017, AO 2007(two separate surface slams) without dropping a set. Shows his versatility and GOATness.

Where did I pretend it was you, I ironically provoked! You still haven’t got it.
Please no luck, I’m hoping only this:
Let them stay healthy, continue to beat the third tire and battle in SF and F against each other as often as possible. Only this and I’m the happiest!
Guess why you genius? ;-):

Perfectly understood..Bonaca. I typically don't watch the WTF but I will this year.. especially watching the genius of Roger, Rafa and Novak.. they're giving all of Us "free" tennis lessons.. especially Roger. I have modeled my one handed by after him.. especially keeping my head still..I destroyed the top player in my league because that clown made all his approach shot short to my backhand..I crucified his arrogant ass.
