I'm not on any pills & I had an adult memory & reading age as well as general ability at the age of 12 actually as well as never getting more than 5 questions wrong in French & the odd 96% in Maths so if that's being retarded then there's not much hope for people who weren't quite as capable as me. I hope not but the period from post Wim 12 to pre AO 17(almost 5 years) may cost Federer the slam record if Nadal's gonna keep winning RGs without any resistance and then snags a non-clay slam with a USO 17 type draw along the way. Fuck man all his USOs have been such undeserved slams it's not even funny. Wim 2010 too kindof but nothing like his USOs.

I don't see Nadal having such a long dry spell of not winning slams with the current field when he can keep winning RGs on one leg. Fed's getting to the point where he simply can't win slams anymore. 2019 or 2020 could be that point so it's vital that he wins one or even two of the next three slams and Nadal doesn't win anymore till atleast RG 2019.

It is ludicrous to say that Nadal won the US Open 3 times "undeservedly." He beat Djokovic in the final to win 2 of them, the guy with the best HC Slam record as of a couple of years ago, anyway. (I've already said that 2017 was a gimme to the big guys and Nadal took advantage. Roger didn't. Del Potro didn't. Let's face it: Cilic didn't and Zverev didn't, and their half was tailor-made for one of them to make the final. THAT part of the draw was cakewalk. And they both managed to slip on the cake.) It's a basic fallacy of fanboys like you that reality should conform to your wishes and opinions. Nobody wins 17 Majors on luck. Nor do they win 3 USOs that way. That's talent, my friend. I've always praised Roger for winning RG when Rafa got dumped out. And he showed nerves when he knew it was his shot. But he got through. That's a champion. Nadal never looked like winning USO prior to 2010, he was losing to just about everyone. Compare that to both Federer and DJ at RG, both were the second best claycourters and were only stopped by Nadal specially Federer as it's almost impossible for a 1HBH to beat Nadal on that high bouncing zero gravity court.

dull got cake draws in all 3 editions. In 2010 he met a semi-retired Youhzny in the SF LOL and met a tired fakervic in the final. In 2013, faker was mentally crushed from his RG 13 loss so it wasn't only in USO that Nadal was beating him, he beat him pretty much everywhere after RG 13. Canada too if I remember correctly. Djokovic had completely lost the plot after he lost RG 13. USO 17 LOL, Nadal had not won a HC event let alone a slam since Doha 2014(and I had to look that up in wiki).

If the courts had stayed quick as they were till 06, he wouldn't have had a sniff of a USO so yes he didn't deserve them let alone three of them. If he deserves three USOs, then both Fed and faker deserve 3 RGs if not more.

Federer was so unlucky from that 2013 to 2016, almost 5 year period that it's hard to believe. Anytime he played well or was in slam winning contention he was stopped by someone playing at 200%, either his main rival or some random mug peaking out of the blue.

fakervic in Wim 14, 15. Cilic in USO 14, faker again in USO 15. I mean even when the draw finally opened up in USO 14 and he didn't for once have to face a peaking fakervic, he was stopped by Cilic who was pretty much unplayable and hadn't won even a MS and was a serial choker. But ofcourse he was playing at an unplayable level just to stop Fed.

Knowing Nadal's luck, it's hard to see him struggle as much as Fed did in that dry spell to win #18.

I know that that is what I should do but I've got a Scots/Irish temper which I try my best to control by singing & expressing myself poetically or even read some poetry but when adrenaline kicks in all rational thought goes out of the window & I can be a very obstinate person. I used to argue with others by sounding as if I'd swallowed a dictionary which worked to a certain extent as it shut some people up but others thought I was a show-off which I'm not. I also believe in standing up for what I believe in which in this case was that people have the right to be treated with respect as intelligent, capable & equal human beings. I don't like him insulting people who have made him & everyone else feel welcome & who I've made friends with &/ had intelligent & enjoyable conversations with. I get your point.
