RE: Who has the dirtiest hand after a match, Federer or Nadal?

All that talk about pointless threads these days... And then this happens. Lol
These are some stats that I doubt even El Dude would digest. I want to hear those interviews at least.

I am preparing an statistical analysis of how many times each one of them touches the given body part during the match, separating by several categories: one finger touch, two finger touch, etc... light touch, heavy touch, squeez, and so on. I will also include interviews with proeminent biologists and some material about bacterial transfer on open environments, together with comparative studies about micro-organisms living on noses and other human cavities not to be named in a polite forum like this.

Hmmm. Boogers v. dingleberries.

You will have to consider the added variable of one guy having tape on his hand...

"Jealous" may or may not be the correct term, but the lop-sided head-to-head may have something to do with it.

My guess is Folks. Have you ever noticed the crazy action he gets on his serve. If I didn't know better, I'd think he was a lefty! That said...I suspect that he, like the great MLB spit-ballers of old, doctors his balls. Just look at how many body parts he touches during his pre-serve routine! Typical spit-ball antics. As often as he pulls his thong out of his butt crack, I'm willing to bet that that's his "go to" area, which would make him a sh!t-baller, which equals really dirty hands, or at least ONE dirty hand, but not a stinky hand, because everybody knows that Folks' sh!t don't stink!

"Jealous" isn't the correct term. No reason for that. It's "resentment," (which some Fedfans won't cop to.) Those are two different things. And it's really not just about the H2H. It's about the fact that basically every smudge on Roger's otherwise sterling resume comes in the shape of Nadal. That's why the fans make the effort to tear down Rafa's character: because Roger could never tear down his tennis.

Never could except all the times he won and don't forget the times he was winning comprehensively only for Nadal to sit down and pretend he had some mysterious injury. The kind that causes you to still run as fast as before and stop your opponent's rhythm and mess up their game. Top guy he is.

Perfect example of "resentment," and the invented narrative as balm. You can't even keep your pronouns straight, but you reach for the tropes like a life raft.

RE: Jealous? Behave....

I think it's well documented on this forum that I think the h2h is ultimately irrelevant, so I'm not even going to bother with all that nonsense. I actually give Rafa props for his achievements, how can one be a tennis fan and not be in awe of them. The reaction function of Rafa fans can be quite hilarious some times. The typical comment about the h2h or hoping their man gets to face Federer or in the event that Roger is in a final and Nadal has failed to reach his appointment winning somehow means less... I could go on, but why bother. Fed fans on forums all know what I'm talking about. Perhaps it's because as a demographic we tend to be older. To me all of that snide mentality actually hints at jealousy and resentment. I find it utterly hilarious that 1) any one would think that we would waste our time hating on a guy with an inferior cv 2) immature enough to invest so much emotion in what is essentially just entertainment!

Maybe it's just me. But my observation of Fedfans and Nadal fans on these boards. Fedfans are ultimately in love with tennis. From my observations a lot of Nadal fans are more in love with the player than the sport. Nothing wrong with that but it often comes across like we're speaking a different language. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so tragic sometimes

You did so well with that comment until your last point. You lost me on the last part I bolded. Really? We all love tennis...that's why we argue it so much. But you lot define Roger AS "tennis." We've been trying to convince you that there is another way, and you refuse to see it. Both styles are valid, and there's nothing 'tragic' about it.

Perhaps, perhaps not. Glad you enjoyed the rest of my commentary btw :) Those are my observations, I'm not really surprised you disagree, but that's the feeling I get

RE: Jealous? Behave....

Serious question: how could a H2H between two players who for the longest time played nothing but finals and have squared off in countless high stakes grand slam meetings be irrelevant? By very definition, the winner of many of these matches wins the tournament. That's irrelevant? I'm pretty sure winning tournaments is what tennis is about. Sure, the h2h doesn't mean Nadal is better nor does it outweigh Federer's superior resume but saying it's irrelevant is either pure BS, lunacy, denial, or all of the above.
