Also if you guys haven't seen the TV show Fargo you should make that the next thing you watch. That's definitely well above "David Ferrer" level of TV shows, much closer to Fed, Rafa, and Djoker TV :) 9.0 on IMDB and I think that's underrated.

It's on my download list right after I finish getting House of cards :) And then American Horror Story after that. Hopefully I'll live to be 3.5 million years old to find the time to watch all of these :D

^ I hear you man. I watch way too much and it's what Kieran said, these shows are amazing. And there are a ton of them worth watching. HOC is an awesome one too of course, but I haven't seen American Horror Story yet. And I'm one of the few who haven't watched Walking Dead.

^ When you think it's "just television", season 1 was exceptional. Of course, nowadays television is as good as films, and often so much better, for various reasons. Television has strengths cinema can't match. But the type of show GoT is plays to cinema's strengths, and I think it matches cinema easily. But a few times I was bored. And it was slightly different to what I was expecting. There was less action than I expected, for example. But the real difficulty might have been that my expectations were too great, and that affected it.

Halfway through season 2 of Ray Donovan, and I love it!

Who are some of your favorite characters on GOT so far? It is easy to think GOT is nothing but insane action and battle-galore based on what you've probably heard. The show is amazing at building up the plots (5,6,7, however many plots) and then something huge happens. With that said some seasons have a lot more action than others. I'd rank season 4 as the best, major stuff was happening almost weekly.

Kieran , GOT..when you get to the end of season 1 .season 2 and especially season 3 will have you absolutely hook like djoker on gluten free food or Pova on Roids

As for Ray.. Didn't you just love the scene when Mickey went to the Gay bar and dance with the men.. He seemed like he was back in prison.. I never seen him so happy and comfortable in his own skin

I think Mickey's an amazing character, and yeah, that scene was hilarious. Did he even know it was a gay bar? :laydownlaughing

I'll continue with GoT because obviously it's too good to skip. I like Joffrey and his evil sexy mother, those pair make me want to do violence to them. Ned Stark, obviously, because Sean Bean's default setting is cool. The imp, Littlefinger, the eunuch, Mormont who travels with Daenerys, and obviously Daenerys, who's just a bundle of cupid wrapped up in cuteness and hotness.

The whole cast is very good, actually, but these are star players. I like the crew up at the wall too...

Yes I think the Lannisters are the best characters even if they are far from the nicest! The characters make the show and there are more and more characters every year. It seemed like a lot to keep track of after season 1 but you haven't seen anything yet.

Absolutely, Mickey knew it was a gay bar.. How that guy Jon Voight didn't win an Emmy or a SAG award for just that scene amazes me. Mickey is a heterosexual male but he really felt comfortable that night at the bar. :laydownlaughing

You guys will definitely enjoy last night's action from Mickey (not giving anything away of course) :laydownlaughing

This show is outstanding, definitely on the rise and I always thought it was very good.

I think for the next phase of my career, I am going to be a "Fixer" like Ray Donavon..( less the ass whippings he endures). :clap

So how would you describe Ray? A small operation gangster? I mean, he's tough and he has Avi, who's tougher, but they're not a mob. Are they a legal protection agency?

I'm still in season 2, Cookie killed Marvin and I suspect he knows Bridget saw him...

Let's put it like this, if Ray and Avi were cellmates, Avi would be Ray's prison sweetie..as for Marvin, he was living on borrowed time messing around with Ray's very unattractive daughter

Ah Ray's daughters very sweet, she'll be a heartbreaker. But what is Ray? A hoodlum? A thug? A bouncer? Gangster? He's using the gym as a laundromat for his ill-gottens, and yet surely his work for Eliot Gould is covered legitimately someplace?

Eliot Gould(Isera) is really the gangster who has the mob like connections. Ray is the ultimate a Fixer who cleanse Isera 's do do. Ray's role is as a hired "security " consultant.

Just been getting into House of Cards... did start watching it ages ago - saw a few episodes, but somehow lost track. Watching it properly this time. Great show. Spacey is superb. Still on season 1 but will follow right through.

Ray is a "fixer" He fixes things legally and illegally to make problems go away for the rich and famous. Not quite mafia but not far removed and chances are there are a fair share of people with that same "job" at least in this country.

HOC is an awesome show. Did you see the British version of it? I hear that is excellent as well.

Also, did you see Fargo yet?

I saw Season 1 of Fargo - really enjoyed it. Haven't seen the second season yet, but I have it ready. Nope, not seen the British version of House of Cards but it's on Netflix so will probably watch after I've churned through all the seasons of the American version.
