Fine I wont do the ranking anymore someone else can do it. Thanks I will just to the WTA rankings
What are you talking about? We’re discussing tennis in real time. We don’t need permission. Sinner will be number 9 after this event ends. That’s a fact. It’s got nothing to do with waiting until the tournament ends…

I have always posted the new rankings at the end of every tournament, okay, I am not interested in discussing this anymore, someone else can do it.

My good how sensitive can you be? You posted, that you thought Sinner would leave top 10 after RG and we only replied that he wouldn't. It's a fact and we can back it up. So why don't you just say OK and be done with it instead of being offensive and insulted. Noone is accusing you of anything!

You always say ‘For the last time’ - and then it’s not the last time.

Nobody said anything bad about you here - we’re discussing fricking tennis. We don’t need your permission…

I'm confused.

Anyhow, what we know:

Regardless of the SF and F, we'll have Alcaraz at #1, Novak at #2, and Medvedev at #3.

If Ruud wins the SF and/or F, he goes up to #4, otherwise Shitpanties stays at #4. 6-10 will be Rune, Rublev, Fritz, Sinner, Khachanov.

Zverev is currently at #23 in the live rankings. If he wins the SF, he moves up to #18. If he wins the final, he's #13.

As far as Elo goes, Alcaraz fell from a career high 2282 to 2264 before the tournament. I don't know for sure until the tournament is over, but I think he's closing in on the exclusive 2300 club...he'll definitely get there if he beats Novak. He'll be the 31st player to reach 2300, and sixth active player.

Peak Elo (Active Players)
  1. 2629 Novak Djokovic
  2. 2552 Rafael Nadal
  3. 2500 Andy Murray
  4. 2331 Juan Martin del Potro
  5. 2316 Daniil Medvedev
  6. 2303 Alexander Zverev
  7. 2296 Kei Nishikori
  8. 2291 Stan Wawrinka
  9. 2282 Carlos Alcaraz Garfia
  10. 2269 Milos Raonic
  11. 2258 Stefanos Tsitsipas

You’re not confused. You understand and acknowledge that Sinner will be No. 9 when the rankings come out.

I got something wrong here. Alcaraz remains #1 only if Novak doesn't win the tournament. If Novak wins, he's #1 and Alcaraz #2.

That's interesting, sort of. Do we really have to have Elo on this thread, too?? Just asking for a tired friend.

Not being a smart-ass, in the post just above Margaret's controversial one about Sinner is this one from Nehmeth, telling us how the #1 is on the line:

This is the link he posted:
