Even legendary DJ Casey Kasem got in the act (this could well be a true story)!

Time for a shot of the Beatles. This is much improved quality and how about the bass audio ? It really kicks butt.
Must be from last year's Blu ray release-

From "Let it Be". Can't believe that the documentary film has not seen an official dvd or blue ray release can you ?

I don't know @Robert Zimmerman - I mean how many chord variations can we have? I'd imagine nearly every tune might have "chunks" that could in theory overlap with another tune... I know Men at Work got done for a few chords in "Land Down Under" but the only people benefiting from this are the lawyers.

Hey everyone. I got a new vid uploaded on YouTube. This time it is a Beatles Quiz by Various Artists, a range and cross section of nearly 50 years. Can you guess the names of the artists and bands as well as the songs featured ? Two of the tunes were instrumentals.

Thanks britbox. Hey I just found a rather interesting clip of the Everly Brothers song "Amanda Ruth".

This vid includes some scenes when Don and Phil were at the Adelaide Grand Prix in 1985. George Harrison ( a huge Formula One fan) was also here and at 02:41 you see a glimpse of him. We lost the Grand Prix in 1996 and it has been in Melbourne ever since but has never been the same again as the Adelaide race was the final of he year.

My late mother in law was a massive fan.
There is a lot I find schmaltzy about Neil Diamond, but there are some songs that are not just great for their time, but really good.

6. Maxwell's Silver Hammer - (girl)
7. I want you (She's so heavy)
8. Here Comes the Sun - woman

I've only got a few ideas so far. More tomorrow. BB got #12, and I think I've got #4. I'm just putting in the songs as place holders for the rest.

Good on you Moxie. Yes #4 should be the obvious of the lot. BTW apart from the opening three fragment, I was trying to construct the same songs in the same sequence that appeared on a certain Beatles album. Do you know which album that was ?

Yes Moxie, a lot of folks feel that about Neil's music particularly after he changed labels around 1973 to Columbia/Sony
If you, or anyone else, are discovering Neil Diamond, the best compilation CD to own is THE BANG SESSIONS: 1966-1968 most of which can be found here:-

Interesting watered down take on 'Cherry, Cherry' which was meant to be the master and scheduled to be released , but the take that the world knows and loves was actually released by mistake -
