Rafa has a good life surrounded of his family, girlfriend and friends, you can see he is still has do keep his wrist immobilized but everything is for good and to avoid something worst

That makes me happy, that he isn't sitting around brooding and feeling sorry for himself; moaning about yet another injury. Rafa has the right idea. Life is for living, enjoying yourself and having fun. Rafa's happy; I'm happy.

1935,

How many times am I going to have to tell you to start reading up on some tennis history?

What are we to do with you woman?

depends on your taste :dance2:

she does use a lot of fancy words to appear intelligent though, so credit where its due.

I am finally back at home on the gulf coast. that fall could have been so much worse.

it will take 2-3 more weeks for a decent recovery.

we all knew that he was an injury or two away from the exit.

this one might be it. his 14 majors will net him over $1 billion over his lifetime.

I think it is over. he wont bother to put in the work on the fitness front and in the training room.

that is why he is constantly shedding fitness and almost always vulnerable to injuries.

Glad to hear that you're recovering so well. High spirits also aid in the recovery process. You're doing a fine job!

I cant see him coming back next year.

he is not the least bit concerned about winning.

we all cling to a little bit of hope but there is really nobody out there who knows anything about the sport that doesn't know that it was over for rafa long ago. he walked away from the sport.

he and his coach both declared that the game had passed him by but nobody was listening.

I don't think it is pity Rafa is not playing Wimbledon because he has a string of early losses to outsiders in last 4 years there. it is real pity he is not recovered yet. I read Samson thinks he won't recover this year, but I guess others have more optimistic expectations. What do you think how early he may come back? I am not sure what are the chances for him to start playing around his best as soon as he comes back like he did just before RG.

Rafa goes back to the doctor in about 10 days to get his wrist checked out.

means nothing. it is over for him in 2016. his small window was clay.

it is clay or the exit. you heard what Nalbandian said.

everybody on the planet who wants to play and win in tennis is doing it.

guess who again struck himself down with inactivity?

he has been injured 7 times in the last 8 years.

you cant blame that on bad luck. he simply refuses to put in the time on the fitness front and in the training room.

he just doesn't want to play, compete, and win.

so with each passing day, the mountain just gets steeper and steeper. he knows that and understands that well. he is not a fool.

rank means nothing. he cant beat the top players. there are players in the top 50 that have not won a title in 7-8 years.

and then there are players who are 35 years old or older who are more fit than they have ever been and are out there competing and winning.

clay warrior is doing exactly what he wants to do. he vacations while all others who want to play, compete, and win are finding a way to do it.

it is his life and his career so he is doing what he wants to do. just don't expect him to win anything of any significance. it simply cant happen with so much inactivity in the last 2 years. he has no game and no fitness.

it is the end. he did it his way.

all that is left is lip service to keep the fans and the sponsors happy. some sponsors will drop over time but they will be quickly replaced.

he will make more money than he ever has over the course of his lifetime so money is not the problem.

tennis is his world and always has been so it is difficult to exit the sport. he stays and enjoys the spotlight for as long as he can.

general masterclass and I told you of this ages ago here and at Camelot: inactivity would lead to one injury after another.

it would also lead to your game being in absolute shambles.

Well, the chances of Rafa looks better than someones think. He is taking a good care to his wrist and he will ready to play the OG thanks to he smart decision for not play for a while. Also it's official that he will play the doubles mixed with Garbine

Mixed doubles. Yes that should do his game some good.

I suggest hot dog eating contests also.

I hear they can do wonders for your tennis game.
