everybody on the planet who wants to play and win in tennis is doing it.
guess who again struck himself down with inactivity?
he has been injured 7 times in the last 8 years.
you cant blame that on bad luck. he simply refuses to put in the time on the fitness front and in the training room.
he just doesn't want to play, compete, and win.
so with each passing day, the mountain just gets steeper and steeper. he knows that and understands that well. he is not a fool.
rank means nothing. he cant beat the top players. there are players in the top 50 that have not won a title in 7-8 years.
and then there are players who are 35 years old or older who are more fit than they have ever been and are out there competing and winning.
clay warrior is doing exactly what he wants to do. he vacations while all others who want to play, compete, and win are finding a way to do it.
it is his life and his career so he is doing what he wants to do. just don't expect him to win anything of any significance. it simply cant happen with so much inactivity in the last 2 years. he has no game and no fitness.
it is the end. he did it his way.
all that is left is lip service to keep the fans and the sponsors happy. some sponsors will drop over time but they will be quickly replaced.
he will make more money than he ever has over the course of his lifetime so money is not the problem.
tennis is his world and always has been so it is difficult to exit the sport. he stays and enjoys the spotlight for as long as he can.
general masterclass and I told you of this ages ago here and at Camelot: inactivity would lead to one injury after another.
it would also lead to your game being in absolute shambles.
