I would like to see carlos moya in Rafa's corner.

he would be a great addition to the team. moya has a wealth of experience and also knows how to motivate rafa.

they have been relatively close friends for a long time. I think rafa would listen to what Moya has to bring to the table.

we are talking advisory capacity for the remainder of this year and the next year.

this of course assumes that rafa wants to make an impression on the clay season in 2017.

it is clay or it is absolutely nothing.

no more grass fun for rafa. those days are more or less over.

He has his golf. that is the only grass he will ever see now.

No more hard courts fun either.

He is in pitiful physical condition. I can't see him doing anything on the North American hard court circuit.

Come on guys, you are going too far, I'm really tired of those negative comments, I have enough with his haters which are all around and celebrating his injuries, sad but true, enough is enough

you mean "constructive" comments.

I feel the same. he's a great player who has given so much pleasure to so many people. It's sad to see it end this way. Maybe it isn't the end yet but I don't feel hopeful.

It's sad to witness those bunch of pathetic and vengeful Roger's fans around . One of them in TennisFrontier ('mrzz', I think he is posting sometimes here too) says: "Nadal out is a huge handicap for the tournament. I mean how the hell can we have that much fun in the first week now?".
The fanaticism and hatred are a very bad feeling and company, it doesn't go anywhere

It is sad, but it speaks to the insidious nature of people who scoff at someone else's downfall. Still, in spite of that Nadal remains the most popular tennis player on the men's side for the fifth straight year based on his followers on social media. That's people talking, not commentators.

I think the hatred is because the commentators wanted Federer to be the Golden Child and Rafa upset that apple cart, so they've made a career out of vilifying Rafa for no reason and are always looking for a way to bring him down. Now that Rafa is injured, they're gleeful that Novak may pass Rafa, but still not overtake Federer. It's all pretty transparent if you ask me, but it's also funny how people try to mask it, but you can still tell despite their failed attempts at deception.

Rafa will be fine and what they can't take away is the love and respect that he garners from the fans, win or lose. That's why his recent troubles haven't dented his popularity, because he's just special. Period.

there are a couple of very large tennis forums out there and we know which ones they are:

MTF is one of them obviously. some of Rafa's most vicious haters reside at MTF. those sickos are known to even wish death to Rafa.

I got kicked out MTF for defending Rafa's biggest fans there.

so I hear now that del Potro has hired a new coach for Wimbledon.

come on rafa take notice: make some changes if you really are interested in doing a little better.

you have said no to change and innovation for a decade now and that is the biggest reason you find yourself on the sidelines now while the rest of the world gathers all the hardware.

say yes to change. bring in moya as an advisor. and then go hire a fitness expert.

he just needs one more RG crown and then his work is done. it will be a great way to sail into the sunset with that elusive 10th RG crown.

Roger Federer came to the stage in the best time with the retirement and fall of the best player at that time and most of them Americans and then later Rafa came to the stage in the worst time because Roger was already ridiculously worship as the most unbeatable player, so elegant, so this and so that and then....how a very young guy, sleeveless, wearing a "capri pants" could beat him so badly? who was that courageous boy? that was a shock for those fanatics which were looking the Swiss like the ultimate of the this sport. Since that first time he was beaten Rafa has been the most hated player of the tour and absurdly accused of the most despicable things coming from those people which never have forgot that 'humiliation' (only for them but not for many good and real tennis followers)
At the present Rafa with a wrist injury the haters still continue with their creepy comments and not just them but also some of the Novak's fans which are backed by the Roger's fans as part of their revenge, totally pathetic
But there is something very clear, it doesn't matter their bad wishes and intentions, the past is the past (nobody can change it) the present is what we see now, the future? we don't know yet, things can change in just one blink

The other bad one is Tennis.com where if there are articles about Rafa and Roger all the Novak's fans are complaining and if there are articles about Novak then all his fans are posting and making bad and unpleasant jokes about the other two players. Sometimes I'm checking there (just for curiosity) but right after I regret because how much s%^$t I read, disgusting
