it is the easiest slam and other hardware haul in history.

andy doesn't have a forehand or the movement or the damn serve and rafa doesn't want to bother with the sacrifices needed to compete with the best.

tony has spelled this out a few times: tony said they will just have to try to rely on luck. and also they will need to avoid players like ferru, andy, and djokovic.
what a way to go tony.

that is called winging it.

finally only player who can go face djokovic is roger who has a bad back and also happens to 60 years old.

so there you have it.

just stand on the sidelines and keep counting djokovic's slam and other hardware haul.

he will end up with around 45 masters shields and 20 slams.

there is just no competition at the top at the moment.

There are not any superman, but unfortunately there are players with a mentally in not the best conditions which doesn't help to win. Rafa still has to improve that issue with roof or without, Muzz has improved on clay but he is far to be a great player on that surface. Rafa never had to lose that match but he again was very doubtfully same like playing to Sousa, he needs to shoo away those demons and then it doesn't matter that tough draw in Roma, he will be able to win that tournament and also RG, word!

there are no demons to fight Rafa.

he just doesn't want to bother with making the hard sacrifices needed to win the big events and also snatch another RG crown.

monica seles practiced 3 times a day to go where she wanted to go.

players spend an immense amount of time in the training room these days.

rafa's problem is the lack of sufficient fitness and physicality. he is a sitting duck without his once supreme fitness and his superb physicality.

it is 2 years of inactivity that has finished him.

nothing is going to happen in rome and in paris.

he will get 2 matches in rome and he might get 3 matches in paris.

Andy gets rid of his coach.

It was a stupid idea to begin with.

She can't do anything for him.

andy and rafa both need to hire Agassi as a consultant.

and rafa should reach out to Sampras too.

the problem is that rafa just doesn't want to bother with any progress, innovation, and change.

that is why his game has been slowly and steadily declining since the end of 2010.

Rafa gets his show on the road tomorrow. he will be in action:

I think he gets 2-3 matches at best in Rome.

it is sad but it is what it is. he wont work hard enough to put himself in a position to win these events where all the top guns are gathered.

he was completely out of gas against Andy in Madrid. simply ran out of steam.

limited game + limited gas = losses to the top players

Andy was never under any pressure at any time in the match.

Rafa now has a wrist issue.

And he said he is not happy to be in the same quarter with djokovic.

we called this ages ago here and at Camelot.

lack of fitness puts him at a huge risk.

his heavy topspin style play is the most demanding in history.

He has been injured 6 of last 8 years.

He could have prevented almost all of injuries with changes in training and better fitness.

More later.

order of play for tomorrow:

he faces Nick. the declining trajectory continues.

he has zero confidence against djokovic and now is further saddled with wrist issues.

it is best to lose tomorrow and get the hell out of these.

he needs to go get that wrist well and also go work on his game. not much time left now.

Or, he could beat Nick. I'm going with that. He looked pretty good today. Wrist holding out. And Djokovic has a gamey back, unless he's playing possum.

I think it is too risky in any number of ways. no need to get killed by djokovic for the 100th time in a row going in paris.

secondly wrist is a very serious matter. we don't really know when it could compromise even if it is a little better.

he really needs to go get that wrist healthy and go work on his game.

winging it is not making any real progress.

you heard his coach. they want to win but they don't want to play andy, ferru, and djokovic.

translation: they don't really have the game and the fitness. it will just lead to one injury after another.

now injured 6-7 times in the last 8 years.

rafa simply refuses to learn anything at all. he wont change a damn thing.

These top dogs don't have the word "tank" in the DNA. Even though it might seem like it's strategically a good move, I can't imagine Rafa, Nole, Fed or Murray dumping out of a match purposely... it's not in their mindset.

Monaco removes Wawrinka from the facilities.

Who was that moron who said Wawrinka can stop Djokovic?

Oh yes I remember now: he goes by the name Bodo The Clown.

I'm just looking at video brother... Rafa ain't quitting here. If you're tanking then you aren't taking sets to breakers to lose. Nadal is playing OK.

I said it was a good idea to get the hell out of there.

If they don't want to get demolished again by Djokovic for the 100th time then it is best to bolt.

And he did say he felt something in his wrist.

I am out on the beach. I have no desire to watch the clay warrior in this pathetic state. I don't need to watch him to know that he is a mere shadow of what he used to be.
