Really? I really like Berdy. He's such a sweetheart. You should have seen his twitts to Andy after he won the Wimbledon. Sometimes he's bit on the prick side but I'd say a lot of the players are that way at one time or another.

Anyway, I am very happy for Popsickle. I am a Canadian but that has nothing to do with that. I just think it's a very good win for him and will do wonders to his career if he's really motivated.

Nole will have to defend his which means he will have to win this title and he has Nadal on his way. Nadal is playing well though I take it Nole will be very keen on taking a revenge on Nadal given that this is his best surface just like Clay is in Nadal's case. But still, it's not as written.

I have not seen him in ages. he disappeared shortly after the last great biblical flood and was never seen again.

Have seen him on T4U lurking probably yesterday while I was browsing but haven't seen him since then.

And Raonic gets the 1st set. If Delpo loses today then we can definitely call it a day of upsets.

nadal cant return serve at all these days. and his backhand is shaky as hell. he has no confidence in it.

at the same time he absolutely refuses to put in the work.

what nole and murray do is put every ball in play when returning serve. that is what makes them so damn hard to beat.

nadal on the other hand is like a deer in head lights when returning serve. he cant get anything back.

and that puts his own weak serve under a lot of pressure.

Gulbis should totally capitalize this draw because he has a great chance to advance to the semi here. Raonic and Delpo would beat each other out today and on top that, they have injuries. So it's a golden opportunity for Gulbis.

I see Andy's playing doubles tomorrow lol. Every time he signs up for a doubles match in a tournament, I get all suspicious about his intention on the singles. Typically he doesn't win those singles titles. It's a pattern I've noticed a long time ago.

Nadal is not one of the best returners so you can't blame him for that. He's got a great forehand and he can dominate the points with that. Though I know both Nole and Andy are very hard to get by and can be just as attacking from an uncomfortable position. That does give them the advantage.

Nadal's serves can be a liability I agree. I still think though that he's better on hard these days than he is on grass.
