It’s incredible to listen to this, and think this is (essentially) the same group of guys who would record “Abbey Road” just seven years later.

Yes and also demonstrates how bad a drummer Pete Best was.

Time for some more legendary BEATLES clips... These Black and White vid's extremely rare.

The next video i have seen only once in 1980 on the australian Rock Arena music program. LOL Now whenever i mentioned to fellow Beatles fans a promo clip does EXISTS for Back in the USSR , they'd look at me as though i were out of my mind. But this clip is proof (albeit average quality) that such a video was made but then withdrawn for some reason.

UPDATE -
The much anticipated revamp of the original Let it Be movie through Peter Jackson, is according to Disney, being put back to August 2021. No further details yet, but no doubt the pandemic has something to do with it. There is no news whether this will affect the proposed release of the Let It Be Deluxe Box Set scheduled for the end of September 2020 - work has just started at Abbey Road on the tapes, but it would not surprise me to learn that this too will get put back, so that they can get released together.

I figured this was coming, but nevertheless it’s too bad. I‘ve been really looking forward to this.

speaking of Lennon and Dylan , there is interesting 20 minute film on youtube of the two riding in a back of a limo in 1966. Dylan looked stoned and very sleepy (it was filmed 7 am). It's in colour for the first time, but not sure whether to add it here. What do you think?

interesting Helter Skelter excerpt. The camera's were rolling back when THE WHITE ALBUM was being made. But how long for, how many tracks (apart from Blackbird and Hey Jude) was captured and is there enough to see the light of day?

I think you should. I'd be interested to see it & I think others would be too.

"It's 7 A.M. The sun is up over Hyde Park. Bob Dylan and John Lennon are driving back in a limousine to Dylan's hotel after a restless night at Lennon's suburban home. The Beatle is stoned but distinctly edgy. Dylan is about to be sick. Filmed by DA Pennebaker and recorded by Bob Neuwirth, this scene was judged too weird for even "Eat The Document," the infamously strange and never-officially-released follow-up to "Don't Look Back." Even though the footage is, as Rolling Stone points out, "Incoherent ramblings of two impossibly stoned rock stars," it is also an extremely important historical document: The only existing footage of two of the greatest songwriters together."

I watched the first 5-6 minutes the other day, then turned it off. They’re stoned and/or drunk to the point it was unwatchable. And I’m a huge Dylan fan and a huge Beatles fan.

Bob certainly was. Not so sure about Lennon as he seemed more coherent.
According to the uploader this was filmed by DA Pennebaker in 1966 under the working title EAT THE DOCUMENT when Dylan was touring the UK but the movie was shelved.
