I'm one infraction away from getting permabanned so I can relate but it's by a Nadaltard mod.

Who?
Loosie?

So that's why you're so subdued since returning from your ban not taking anyone's bait?:D

MTF and TT are the worse. I got banned at both for just having fun, it’s not like I insult anyone. And then whenever I tried to comeback, I get banned for the reason "previously banned user". I bet nobody remembers why I was banned in the first place, it was for stupid reasons as tons of posters do worse.

Overall they are more biased toward Federer. A fed fan can call Nadal a pig, cheater and clay not a real surface and they stay, and then you make an argument against Federer citing something like h2h or olympics and you get banned. Here I feel that it’s better except that there aren’t as many posters, maybe we should try to bring some here, especially beautiful Nadal fans. :good:

Although we Nadal and Fed fans have a rivalry and can get into heated discussions, that's what makes forums fun, as long as everything is done with respect and without insults.

They have the lamest infractions like baiting, player bashing. I mean cmon, it's all fun n games, why ban anyone unless it's a personal attack? The only infraction that should exist is someone is personally abusing you. Other than that I don't see any reason to ban anyone, that's so lame.

Trust me now it's changed because the mods are no longer Fed fans. Awka Liven is the only fed fan mod there and he's spineless so dulltards are having a good time now. You would've enjoyed now.

Well unfortunately, I will get banned again because I will forever be a "previously banned user". Believe me, I tried. But I like it here on this forum, hopefully a few more posters will join and then it will be perfect.

I'm glad you're adjusting here, it's a nice forum. Yea I've been campaigning against the permaban for many years now but they just don't listen which is sad because there were many funny posters who were banned for nothing. I hope all those posters join here as this place would become more amazing.

We're one of the last surviving indie tennis forums outside MTF and TT. Nearly all have closed down with the onslaught of social media. The background to this board was that a large chunk of the original members came from the original tennis.com message boards after they got closed down... That was around 2012... tennis.com then brought in Livefyre commenting system to replace the old boards.

Tennis Forums are kind of Web 1.0 ... a bit of a relic in this day and age and we get it... but feel free to invite more people over.

That was a nice read, thank you. Well I got permabanned on twitter LOL so for me I have only blogs and forums to provide my unbiased analysis. ;)

Yes I'm targetting all the fedtards from MTF to join here specially the hardcases as they're one or two infractions from getting permabanned. :lulz1:

Lol. Laughing at the infractions counts... I used to go on MTF now and again, once in a blue moon. TT was always better IMO... I still drop by that place occasionally. Tennis.com about 10 years ago was the craziest forum I posted on as it had no moderators for about 2 years and it was like the wild west. Vicious but really funny at the same time.

Haha IKR. Well I thought it's just a blog where you could just rant , scream, say flowery things about posters and players, maybe i went a little too far and got ipbanned so I'll have to make a dupe account on a proxy if i have to access it though I can access acounts and read their tweets. I appealed to them to unban me but they denied me.

Twitter is too PC, have to be careful with the rants there. But I've mellowed down a lot now so I would do better if they gave me a second chance.

TT was good back in the day, they have some nice posters. I wish I was on Tennis.com, it just seems like these days the forums are too PC, a little rant here n there and you get banned.

Lol, back in the day on tennis.com there was an ongoing war between Federer and Sampras fans. Kind of GOAT related... but it was as funny as hell. You might know guys like CD (Clay Death) on MTF and fellas like TMF and Alien on TT, they all used to post there.

It was Crazy 101, One day, somebody posted an aerial shot of CD's house from Google Earth and another guy re-posted another posters advert on some dating website and the admins got called in to clean up the place. I don't think Tennis Magazine had any clue that their forum had become such a wild place. The publishers wife got installed as admin, tons of posters got banned and the party was over.

Some of us carried on posting on Tennis.com v2 after the cull and then we eventually ended up setting up our own forum after the thing got shut down a few years later.

OMG! What a fun place that must've been! Yes I know CD(have had fights with him on MTF though I think we're ok now), TMF is a lovely guy ;). Don't know Alien though. I think the publishers' wife may have been responsible for the bans, that's sad though.

What an interesting story that is, you're like yoda, mate.:D

Tennis.com was pretty wild at one point, but BBC 909 (I think that was it's name) was 10 times worse. That had no moderation either and got shut down when then powers that be discovered the shit that was going on. ESPN used to run boards that could get tasty... I never posted on ESPN , just occasionally read it but I recall @Fiero425 did. I think they used to appoint posters as admins. A few came here when it shut down. There was one poster who stormed off (Chelsia16) a former ESPN admin, when somebody queried why she kept bolding the text in her posts... LOL!

Alien and a guy called Crackbillionair (massive Fed fan who hated Nadal... and really hated CD) seemingly tracked CD down, posted pictures of his house and place of business. If I remember correctly, I think CD had been putting it around that he was a multi-millionaire trading stocks, but they posted images from Google Earth showing a house the size of a rabbit's hutch and info that he was a branch manager at Enterprise Rent-a-car.

They were pulling his chain with Enterprise avatars for a while before they got banned. I don't know if they were right or CD was right and didn't really care. I kinda liked CD though in many respects... he was a colourful character.

What a fascinating story! CD still posts in MTF now though. Maybe he can pay us a visit.:)
