If Nadal had Federer's amazing luck with injuries, and Federer had Nadal's horrible luck with injuries, Nadal would have 25 slams and Federer would have 10 slams. So unfair. The fact that Nadal despite it all is only 3 slams behind Federer while also 5 years younger just shows who the GOAT is. For the 100th time throughout the years I wish you to get well soon Rafa :smooch:

So Nadal wins 8 extra slams and Federer drops 10? Which two does Federer lose by being paralyzed by fear of a fit Nadal watching a final at home on TV?

Those 2 extra slam losses probably would go to Murray or something. Don't forget that due to his many injuries Federer would not be able to cope as well as Nadal did, and he would also lose confidence, etc. Have a nice day. B-)

Federer will play injured... always did. Nadal has pulled out of tournaments because he doesn't think he's fit enough to win... not play.

Nadal was physically fit enough to play Wimbledon 2009... but dropped out because he didn't think he was fit enough to win. Have a nice day

You make your own luck and style of play decides that in a sport such as tennis and Nadal hasn't had anywhere near the amount of bad injuries the likes of you make out. He has never ever had surgery and it's his choice to sit out tournament to go fishing or playing golf. Best example of this was missing the AO 2013. His choice 100% as all that was wrong was he had a stomach virus 3 (!) weeks before the AO. Never heard the likes of it before...missing a tournament 3 weeks later for a sore tummy.

Even if fully fit, Nadal still doesn't have a great serve and still pushes like a woman giving birth to triplets when he's getting soundly whooped. You've excelled yourself with your silly what ifs this time.

The reason Nadal is only 3 slams behind is all the surfaces are slow as shit these days so your beloved ass picker is like a pig in shit. For a not so outlandish what if, try this one...what if the only slow court was RG. Things would be quite a bit different then and you know it. Djokovic and Nadal would have won fuck all except for Djokovic at the AO before it was speeded up last 2 years. He's great on slow/medium hard courts and would still have done well there and may have sneaked in a RG or 2. Nadal on the other hand would likely be left with just clay titles. The truth hurts and this is a realistic what if unlike yours.

Yeah and Federer injured his back while giving a bath to his daughters because his fatherhood skills aren't that great. Injuries have a lot to do with luck. Tons of servebots get injured too while tons of grinders never get injured. It's all luck and Federer is not only lucky when it comes to injuries but he's also lucky to have had an empty weak era after Sampras/Agassi and before the real resurgence of Nadal/Djokovic. So much endless luck.

Federer will play injured... always did. Nadal has pulled out of tournaments because he doesn't think he's fit enough to win... not play.

Federer citing some injury while playing is just an excuse for his losses. Nadal misses months due to his injuries, have barely played full seasons even in his prime. Please don't compare. :nono:

Standard victim mentality Nadal tard response when you know you have no counter argument. The surfaces have been slowed so dramatically that court homogenization is the only reason that Nadal and Djokovic are even close to Federer. Bring things back to how they should be at Wimbledon and the USO and have the AO either like 2007 speed or the current speed and you wouldn't be so cocky.

I also never fail to laugh at this weak era crap you clowns keep harping on about. Seems you haven't been watching the last few years lol. This is the weakest it's been for decades. Give me Phillipousis, Roddick, Gonzalez any day over Nadal and Djokovic on real Wimbledon grass or fast hard court. It's only weak in your mind cos you're butt hurt at the numbers because those 2 wouldn't have beaten those guys on proper grass.

LOL. Yeah hardcourts and grass are so slow, that's why Federer has 19 WB/USO/AO vs only 1 RG, and Nadal has 11 RG vs 6 USO/AO/WB. Makes sense. Federer has 3 slams per year that favor him, Nadal has only 1 slam per year that favor him, and Nadal will still pass Federer's total (injuries and all). :lulz1:

How does Federer have 3 slams that favour him when they're all practically the same speed, genius? Seems someone wasn't very good at school. The slow ass speeds favour Nadal and Djokovic unless you have serious comprehension and sight problems.

LOL Wimbledon, USO and AO are fast you genius. We have been watching Federer servebot his way through the many titles there for many years. Only RG is slow, a tournament where you actually have to play rallies and think to win.

You're even dumber than most here thought if (a) you think all besides RG are fast and (b) that Federer is a serve bot. Funny how Isner, Raonic and Karlovic have a whopping zero slams between them on these supposedly fast surfaces. Maybe you didn't notice Nadal returning Anderson and Khachanov's serves from New Jersey at the USO, which was an insult this year in terms of how slow it played.

Don't feed the troll. It's clear this dude laid eyes on Rafa's "natural" biceps in 2005 and latched on. And clearly he didn't watch tennis before to see what fast courts are truly like. And it's funny the troll is accusing others of whining when all his posts are crying over bad luck for a guy with the most physical peasant game in history. If you think style of play doesn't have anything to do with injuries in tennis or other sports you probably shouldn't bother to comment.

I am not the troll you guys are. You are the ones who can’t even give a compliment to Nadal and always need to discredit him. Even though Federer is not my favourite and I think he’s slightly overrated, I am more than fair towards him and even created the thread calling him an Eraser highlighting how amazing he is. And I never attack him personally. Meanwhile all you Fed fans can do is call Nadal an ass picker pig cheater slow surface dull pusher. It just shows how threatened you are. I would never sink so low and insult Federer like that.

Imagine winning 17 slams and not even defending a 250 outside clay. If this is not the definition of a glorified claycourter I don't know what is.

In your assumptions you left out a few more things. Are you also assuming that you give Federer the same stamina that Nadal has? Further, can we also assume that Federer gets TUE's when he needs treatment for his injured knees?

This year is a perfect example got injured and retired at the USO and pulled out of Beijing where he was defending champion at both. Endless bad luck. If he had 1% of Federer’s luck he would have defended both.
