Tsitsipas drops the first set to Berankis in a tiebreak.
So many chances to break without converting and then he drops the first set. Anyway, he did just finally break in the 2nd.

BY losing to Opelka, Goffin's chances to make the WTF final got a lot slimmer. They were not to good to begin with.

I think Goffin won't make it. Kei is out with injury and so Kei also won't make it.

Sasha and Matteo are the top two contenders for the remaining two spots.

Some chances for RBA, Fog and La Monf.

I am rooting for Matteo and Fog to make it to WTF.

Stan gets through a nailbiter against Tiafoe with one of his trademark BHDTL passing shots.

Heartbreaker for Frances. He worked hard for it, and came up just short.

He plays Fed next and anything can happen in that match.

Nope! It's just been reported Stan's WD from the match! Gutless turd! He supposedly hurt himself today! Now he's doing what Roger did to him a few yrs ago at the YEC; killed himself to win his 3 setter over Tiafoe, then decides not "to go" tomorrow against his "MASTER!" :nono:

wawrinka would have just lost to federer anyway he's only ever beaten him on clay, tsitsipas the only one who can beat Federer left in the draw.

I hope Zverev and Berrettini get the slots. Also, Zverev has a lot of points to defend there.

Ridiculous notion that Stan would withdraw out of cowardice. Too bad that Tiafoe didn't get through then, though, as at least he'd have played.

Let's call said "odd way" properly: sexism. Sexists like to see sexism everywhere, even if it does not exist in objective opinions.
Never ceases to amaze when man whore loves sexist labelling (yes you are so IN, congrats)...so back to what was discussed, surnames are sexism no?

Federer’s never ending luck is unbelievable. Meanwhile Wawrinka is so unlucky. They should be tied at 8 career slams each based on true talent alone, but when you factor in the luck :negative:

Bautista Agut lost to Opelka, this is really helping Matteo for the quest to make the finals in London.

How do you want to distribute the remaining seven slams (20+3 - 16)?

We have a David vs. Goliath semifinal here. Tall Opelka will play against diminutive D-Minor in the bottom half.

I expect D-Minor to win it. D-Minor has 3-0 H2H against Opelka.
