Sabine eating a bagel against Diyas. I guess she only raises her game when playing against the top players. :speechless:

Those who played Fed Cup are at a disadvantage. Too tired or injured to do well here.

Watched Halep barely beat Mugu. Hoping Halep gains confidence going into FO.

Anyone else using Tennis Channel Plus to view matches? I bought the app today and trying to understand its features.

I bought the app back in Jan. It helps during times like this when they have multiple events going on simultaneously. W/ TC+, you can watch the Stuttgart matches live this week while TC is showing the ATP in Barcelona live. The thing is, TC will show the Stuttgart matches on a replay later in the day.

I'm trying to decide if I want to keep TC+ after Dec. I guess I'll wait until the end of the year and make a decision then.

Petra has rapidly become that player who only shows up for Fed Cup and Wimby. She loses to a no-name American (Brengle) in straights on an indoor court. :cover Indoors are supposed to be her strength. :speechless:

Petra should show up for every match in her Fed Cup uniform and fool herself into thinking her match is the decider. She might shoot straight to the top of the rankings with that strategy.

At this point I really only see three players possibly winning this tourney, either Errani, Halep or Maria.

I'd give Woz the same shot as Errani.

I wouldnt, Errani has been a major factor on clay for several years now, and it is the one surface where she and her record are superior to Woz.

Woz has never been a threat on clay, not crafty enough, nor does she hits through the clay strong enough.

I agree w/ all of that, but she took out Lucie in straights in a well played match. Lucie's formidable on any surface. Depending how the draw swings, things could open up for her this week. That's why I gave her a puncher's chance.

Maria in all kinds of trouble. Can't hold her serve in the decider against Kerbie.

Good numbers, especially 1st serve %, winners/UFEs ratio, and break points converted.
