I definitely think Liverpool are the side facing the least amount of pressure, but with maybe the most lethal strike force of all the contenders. I think it's between them and Chelsea. I don't trust Pelligrini to win it, and I think Arsenal are in a crisis against their fellow top sides, so they're going to drop too many points.

Great race though!

Ronaldo is so pathetic :nono, he puffs out this smokescreen about the ref being against Madrid, I didn't see him refusing his penalty after being fouled outside the area, or go up to de maria and tell him to stop diving..just to cover the ego bursting reality he was owned by messi in his own castle.

I like Ronaldo's play but i'm happy I like messi even more..3-4 that was a classic 'el clasico', messi scored first away hat-trick in this fixture for 51yrs (so claimed), la liga is hotting up like the prem with a 3 way tussle with athletico Madrid surprisingly leading the table with 9 matches left.:)

^^ iniesta is indeed wall to wall class..i shrieked out when messi threaded that pass through and iniesta hit an in/out drive with the outside of his foot...vamos.

Cardiff 3-6 Liverpool :snigger..top of the prem is burbling up in an interesting fashion.

suarez has 28gls in the prem, could be on for the prem record of 34gls of andy cole 1993-94, & alan shearer 1994-95.

Footballer saves opposing player's life. I'm sure you've all seen this:

Watch the video.

It really was quick thinking by Kankava, and a concern for a person, more than a football match.

3 wins should do it, can't see City winning all their games. And, dammit, I thought it was a 4pm kick off and missed everything... :nono

Liverpool beat City 3-2. Great match. It's in our hands with 4 games to go.

I laughed out when kompany sliced that so-called clearance straight to coutinho :laydownlaughing ..he reacted really quickly to the gift and slotted that freakin ball away into the GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAL. 3-2.

Teams aside, put your world XI together and the spin is tha it needs to be players that you have seen. Hence, Pele doesn't make my World XI because I never saw him play. Also, think of a team that will function together.

GK Peter Shilton (Eng)
LB Paulo Maldini (Ita)
CD Beckenbauer (Ger)
CD Baresi (Ita)
RB Cafu (Bra)
LM Barnes (Eng)
CM Zidane (Fra)
CM Maradona (Arg)
RM Cruyff (Ned)
S Zico (Bra)
S Messi (Arg)

Subs: Roberto Carlos (Bra), Gerrard (Eng), Matthaus (Ger), Socrates (Bra), Platini(Fr), Ronaldhino (Por)

I'm going with a 4-4-2 with two central midfielders and two strikers.
LB=Left Back RB=Right Back LM=Left Mid RM=Right Mid

I just caught the tail end of Cruyff and Beckenbaur and those guys are a shoe-in. I've put Cruyff at Right Mid, but he could play anywhere.

You'd made heavy weather of it yesterday, brother: you have the firepower but your inexperience showed. They'll need to settle against Chelsea.

Giving a bit of thought to my World XI!

Maradona's the greatest I've seen but most of it was on tape as I was not born/too young in his heyday so I guess I'll leave him out.

This team can play with 4-2-3-1 or 4-2-2-2 formation, and it looks fomidable.

We have to have seen them in the flesh, right? Not just players who are playing in our time and we saw them on telly...
