@tented posted above, but I'm going to say this: they all do this. They claim innocence, and whine about victimhood, and there is definitely the court of social media to play to.
As to Patrick M and Cahill supporting her, I don't completely agree with those above that that's not self-interested. I think they have to back her, since they coached her. Sure, it's possible that she did what she did without them knowing, and it would take a LOT to convince me that Cahill isn't as honorable as they come, BUT...it does reflect on them, a bit, in that I think even an ex-coach needs to back the player, in the interest of future work. It won't hurt them to have supported her, because, as everyone seems to think, they well might not have known.
