I find that one win against Nadal does wonders for one's reputation. There isn't a broadcast where we're not reminded of Nadal's "failures." It doesn't seem to matter who else they beat, it goes unnoticed from the commentator's booth, but if they get a win over Nadal, we'll hear about it forever . Remember when Tsonga was going to be the next great thing? LOL!
Ever so vaguely, and mostly in the hearts of Fed and Djoker fans, I suspect. In real tennis terms, Troicki, while a fading player, is the more accomplished, between him and Rosol, and so the more likely to make a match of it. Rosol can barely make it out of qualies these days.Yep, but the back story makes it more interesting than Troicki/Nadal.
No Nadal/Rosol match... Troicki dispenses of Lukas in straight sets 6-2 6-4
Yes, that was a bad pull for him. Long way to go to lose in the first round. And Zverev does go up one to #20. I'm glad he beat ol' Cilic....del potro needed to get a qualifier in rd one but instead he got goffin.
is he playing swiss indoors and paris masters this year ? got dc final late nov also.
Rosol isn't remotely comparable to Tsonga, who is a perennial top 10-20 player, and a Major finalist and semi-finalist. Dustin Brown makes a better comparison.
