even other posters know your wrong about AO17 should call you trash mouth also I told you Medvedev will win Shanghai masters in my challenge draw + nadal just about to win paris masters.

Don't fucking lie to yourself man. I called you out on your bs (see below) and you later stated you picked Medvedev in your draw challenge, clearly because you had zero faith in your bs claim of Thiem winning Shanghai and were just looking for more sad attention knowing he had no hope and it was likely to actually be Medvedev who many of us predicted correctly.

"murray had a good week two good wins but just is not ready to beat a player like thiem whos going to win the china open+ shanghai masters."

He's the best in the world right now (Zverev said so too) and don't fool yourself into thinking he can only beat those two.

“In the past few months, he's probably the best player in the world, making it to six finals in a row, winning a Masters [1000], making it to the US Open final"

if you go by the last 2 months yes, but I'm not going to put him ahead of Djokovic nadal who both won 2 majors this year which is a lot bigger+ better than masters so third for me.

Wow the more Medvedev wins, the more it makes Nadal’s wins in Canada and at the USO impressive and spectacular. Medvedev is definitely the real deal. He will soon be at no.3 ahead of Federer.

Congrats to Medvedev!

That makes it six finals in a row (including USO) and three titles won at that (including two Masters titles).

But, I have not seen a single ball being hit live in this years Shanghai Tourney and so don't really know what is going on in terms of actual play of the players.

Medvedev is a total beast. He's playing the Moscow Open as well which starts tomorrow. Hopefully doesn't tire himself out too much before Paris and the WTF but like St. Petersburg, he likely feels obligated to play another home event at Moscow. Rublev and Khachanov (defending champion) are also there. Khachanov has a lot of points to defend at the moment: Moscow and the upcoming Paris masters.

https://www.atptour.com/en/tournaments/moscow/438/overview

Med will be fine. He played St. Petersburg even though it is a 250 as it is in Russia (and won his first title at home). But, then he cleverly skipped both Tokyo and Beijing, despite it being 500. Thus he was actually fresh for Shanghai 1000.

Similarly, he is now playing in Moscow indoor 250, as it is a home tourney. I fully expect him to skip both Basel and Vienna despite they being 500. Thus he will have a weak's break and so will be fresh for Bercy.

Finally, there is a week of break for everyone after Bercy and so that will be good enough for him to be fresh for WTF also.

Clay seems to be an issue for Med. He lost in the first round of all three major clay events viz., Madrid, Rome and RG. But, he is young and he will learn and adapt himself.

He took Djokovic out in Monte Carlo. That was when I decided he was the next number 1 in the making. He was impressive there.

I think he'll be alright on clay but the problem is the surface might be too slow for his game and he's going to have to try to generate his own pace and go for his shots a little more against the elite. Medium/fast hards are perfect for his counter-punching game. Clay doesn't work the way it used to where consistency from the baseline alone is enough. You have to go for your shots and get on top in the rallies. Guys like Thiem take huge cuts at the ball on clay because it gives them the time to, and they hit so big that the shots are penetrating even on a smaller surface. Daniil has to generate his own pace a little more on clay.

Yes he is.
But I would like to see Novak and Nadal in two or three more Grand Slam matches, as Long as they don’t became beatable by everyone. Finals if possible, for the good old times sake my friend. We will never see battles like AO 12 or French SF 13. What matches that were!
No one of these young guns would come near beating these 3 all time greats, when they were in their prime years!

it would be good my friend to see Djokovic vs. nadal for two or more grand slams matches anywhere I don't care, also I agree with that the big 3 would have easily beat all the young guns in their prime for sure.
