Nice confident performance from Andy, particularly the 2nd set. Until he murdered it serving for the match :cover

What did just happen there?

What he does continually. Switches off when in total control and gets sloppy.

I left thew room when it was 5:0 because I thought it was sealed, when serving for the match.
I was shocked when came back in a few minutes to see that it was still going and Mahut serving

Dimitrov is highly overrated. Lacks mentality.

I'm not a big fan of Dimitrov, but it would be great for tennis if Raonic, Nishikori and Dimitrov started taking their spots at top. That would be fun to watch.

Grigor should not be losing to Muller at this stage in his career.

However, he does. That is why I also think he is overrated and I teased GSM when he included him among the top players present in this event.
Also, Muller plays at the moment as good as ever, and he is actually moving up through the rankings as never before, despite being 31y old.
Grigor was patchy in his R1 and I was smelling the upset.

What's funny is that they are all missing or lacking that one important aspect to get over the hump.

Dimitrov has the tools or skills and physical body to win a major but his mental strength is questionable.

Nishikori has the tools skills and mental toughness to win a major but his body is questionable and sometimes he doesn't have the firepower to hit against the Big Four.

Finally, Raonic has the big serve and physical body to win a major but that's the only thing he has in his arsenal. He doesn't have the tennis skills like Dimitrov's or Nishikori's.

Absolutely fantastic first set by Berdych against Seppi. 6-0 in 21 minutes. :clap

And then Berdych goes on to drop the 2nd set 3-6. :s A ball ricocheted off of his racquet and hit him in the neck in the second game of the set and he hasn't been the same since. But Seppi is playing much much better.

Just woke up and had hoped to see that match. :(

Judging by the score, it seems that Tomas was channeling his "inner Djokovic". :cover

Oh come on. That ball whacked him pretty good in the neck.

Muzza plays Vasek next.
Vasek had an impressive win in R1 in straights against Kohli, but Muzza is another question.
