Musetti is growing up to be a hottie,he has that certain intangible air about him .
Apart from his good looks, I wish he could at least win one game off Novak, who gave him a bagel in the 1st set...Help me lol!
Finally he gets on the board in the 2nd set, it was a struggle lol!

Looks like Novak has quieted some of his detractors around here! NO COMMENTARY I see! Armitraj keeps referencing Novak's last lost at Laver Cup! WHY? It's nothing but a glorified exhibition! It's a joke to count wins or losses in that event! The truth is he's been on fire and hasn't dropped a legit match since The French Open!  :astonished-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Well it was more of a practice session for the Freedom Fighter aka Novak :), he is young, Italians tend to be sensitive, a learning lesson, hopefully he learns from his mistakes in the match,

We can hate Rune as much as we want, but we have to admit that the kid is playing awesome tennis.
Just pausing from going down the canals of Venice to say The innocent Danish man child is in great form. Like a diamond there are many facets to this babe in the woods.

Granted he's cocky, but the victim of bitter jealousy & pettiness ( and im too noble to name all you heartless Tennis Frontier bullies in Casper Ruud’s payroll by name) is leapfrogging in competitive mettle.

Doesn’t he have at least 6 top ten scalps this year?

Alcaraz (1), Rublev (7), Hurkacz (10), Tsitsipas (5), Sinner (10), Tsitsipas (4), Zverev (3),

So that's seven. He also beat Fognini, Dimitrov and Shapovalov, former top 10s - though the former two not quite prime form.

And here's a nice little tidbit: He lost his first two matches against Cameron Norrie this year, then won his third - though after Norrie had dropped out of the top 10.

EDITS IN BOLD

I can't remember, but there's someone at the top of the rankings with no Top 10 wins! Nyah, maybe heard it last night & woman had that record!

Looks like we were also correct about him having ridiculously easy draws :popcorn Also he must hold the record of tournament wins without facing a top player :check-mark:

Just did a little research in his last 25 Masters finals, he has faced Nadal or Federer a grand total of 5 times. Lost twice to Nadal, beat Federer twice lost once. Nadal in his last 25 masters finals has faced either Federer or Novax 12 times!!

Didn’t the Danish gift from heaven beat both Hurcaz and Rublev this week? Both in straight sets no less. Surely at least one of those guys was ranked top 10, if not both when Holger took them to the woodshed.

You're right - I was looking at Alcaraz's results in Paris. Both are top 10, so that makes seven top 10 kills this year. I'll edit my post.

Looks like Rune took the first on the strength of an early break. My TC is out of order. Who knows why.

Felix looks a bit tardy on his putting foot to ball movement today which yields his ufes plus he isn't getting enough depth on his ground strokes. Rune is taking care of business so far ..

Holger's working FAA & making him look bad! Felix's winning the cutsie changes of pace rallies w/ dropshots, but overall Rune's pounding him good! He's already up 2 breaks in the 2nd set & making FAA work in every serves game he has! Very impressive outting by Rune! :face-with-hand-over-mouth::astonished-face::fearful-face:

I’m unable to see it but that’s great! I love Felix but I love seeing tough new youngsters who know what they want, even more!
