Yep that is correct Monfils needs to make the s/finals in Paris and wins he gets the last spot,if not Berretini gets it.

Haha it could have easily ruined Nadals appearance in the Final!Some eye candy matches tomorrow with Dimitrov vs Garin and Nadal vs Tsonga.

Yes, La Monf does not need to reach the finals. He will have 2710 pts if he reach the semifinals. Matteo will be stuck at 2670. So, La Monf gets in if he reaches SF. For that he has to win the current match (which he is on the verge of winning) and the next one against Shapo.

How is it you can say, with a straight face, that this has nothing to do with match-ups? Roger and Rafa own Stan, and Stan has had some big wins over Novak, in important moments. Are you blind, or just resentful? I also think you have put me on "ignore", so I write this for other people. It really doesn't matter how much you like to think that Stan has the game to beat Rafa. He hadn't even taken a set off of him when Rafa's back went and Stan went on to win his first Major. And the H2H is now 19-3. I don't think there is a strong argument that Stan "has the game" to beat either Roger or Rafa.

Nole definitely was hoarse yesterday! Not as bad today, but something's still lingering there! I can only hope he can get past Perseus who's on top of his game! If not I won't begrudge the kid and hope he goes on to do well and maybe win! :whistle:
