I love watching Caroline Garcia play, she has all the shots,I would love dearly if Amelie Mauresmo would coach her,she needs a proper coach, than her father to take her to the next level.Caroline will have to be patient in her match against Aga,she has the weapons to defeat Aga especially on clay, though at times, especially in big points, her mentality and shot selection lets her down.

Not too many surprises so far in the early matches...

Simona, Kuz, Petra and Garbine all advancing in fairly routine fashion.

Happy to see Bertens win. I think she's on an 8 match winning streak now. Picked her to beat Kerberos too in the bracket. Think she might make it to the 4th round or so, though she must be getting tired from all the matches now.

CoCo gave Begu a run for her money, though. 7-6(4) 6-7(4) 8-10. I was hoping the American might pull off the upset.

The Pocket Rocket is making me nervous. 5-2 up in the first and Konjuh pulls back to 5-4 and back on serve.

Yay... Cibby takes the first set but makes harder work of it than necessary. Konjuh has a horrible ball toss on serve... she's all over the place.

Konjuh ties this up at one set apiece... she's seeing the ball like a water melon right now. Cibulkova badly needs to regroup and start the decider well.
