Unless she plays poorly in the final (as she did in 2019 Wimbly final), Serena to win the whole thing.

Even if Serena does not get to the final here, the more matches at RG gets her body match fit for Wimbledon.

I agree with a previous poster. This may be a better opportunity to get 24. The pressure is off a tiny bit here as no one is really expecting her to beat these young guns on her worst surface.

Ana Kontaveit has a early break over Iga Swiatek, this is their first meeting on clay,Ana has a H2H 2-0 over Iga that is on HC.
Ana leads 4-3...Iga breaks and it is 4 all.
Tight first set went to a t/break....Iga won 76(4)
Iga has found her groove in the 2nd set leads 4-0
Too many UFE from Ana in the 2nd set
Defending champion Iga delivers a bagel
Swiatek d Kontaveit 76(4) 60
Well done Iga!

The Azarenka/Pav match should be good. Pav has been in form as of late. Hopefully, Serena is in more of a Serena Slam mode and not a Slam the Door on That mode.

Took a nap and just read that Jen Brady had to retire in her match against Coco Gauff, she has been suffering from plantar fascitis and a bone bruise since Rome and considered not playing RG.

Azarenka and Pavs are warming up....lovely sunny day in Paris
Watched the 1st set between Cirstea v Zidansek which went to a t/break,Cirstea made some untimely UFE towards the end of the t/break and Zidansek won 76 (4).
