Federer should be suspended. It's absolutely embarrassing that he is entering a slam as a "preparation" for the grass season and ruining the draw like that. So much for playing for the "love of the game".
How did he ruin the draw exactly ? Did he know his knee was going to give him issues ? No. Did he play only 6 matches in 17 months after 2 knee surgeries ? Yes. Is he approaching 40 ? Yes. How about a cool glass of stfu ? Why certainly. Make it a double.

Shame Roger's out :(
Yes, but, it seems such a wise move. And the good news for you is that Medvedev is still in, and looks to be going to the next round. Did you see somebody posted the formula whereby he gets to #1 in a month or so? Your prediction could come true.

Popcorn match.
Hopefully the “bullshit” Russian will destroy him again.

Yup, he's on fire today. A slight lull to start set 3. Some elbow or forearm pain but seems back on track now hopefully. Very impressive performance and not like Garin is playing badly at all. He's just getting thoroughly outplayed.

Thanks for the overview of the match. As I said, I haven't see Meddie strike a ball in this tournament, but they've put it on now, as Tsitsipas is finished.

He's showing everything this tournament from deft touch at the net to great drop shots, crazy returns of serve and belting seven shades of shit out of the ball like it's a hard court. Seems he's loving RG conditions and balls this year and must say the day matches seem nice and fast to me too.

That's why I said to Moxie earlier, put Med on a night match.like Roger had last night in cooler conditions.which did not suit Rogers play, hard to hit through the court.I would like to see how he handles the conditions?

So much for playing for the "love of the game". And please don't defend him, he is not injured, he is only withdrawing so that he has a better chance on grass and at Wimbledon. If he had played the same exact matches in the first 3 rounds at Wimbledon then he wouldn't have withdrawn. Absolutely disrespectful and I hope he gets fined.
If you thought it was going to ruin the draw for Roger to go out, then why do you keep rooting for just that, every round? He was in a path to meet Djokovic, and on the short list to have taken him out, too. (Not so realistically, but still.) As a Nadal fan, I should think you would root for Federer at this tournament. As to fining Roger for dropping out to protect his Wimbledon, tell me what you thought was the #1 or #2 reason that Rafa chose not to come to the US last August to play on the HCs?

Yeah, the night conditions are nowhere near as easy to play on but I'm hoping Medvedev stays in the day zone to be a contender. Obviously fairer for them all to have to endure both but I don't want him losing a winnable match now and hoping he continues to do damage here. He nearly has this match in the bag already.

You are so blind it's pathetic. He never mentioned that his knees were giving him issues during the match, if they did after a few matches then he should withdraw from the grass season too since it's even worse on the knees with the low bounce. Even before the tournament it's obvious that he was using this tournament as a preparation for the grass season, it's disrespectful and pathetic. He would have never withdrawn during Wimbledon in the exact same scenario. He will pay for it by losing the slam record. On TV some commentators are saying that he might get fined. Good luck to your hero Frauderer but he will regret this decision as GOATdal and Djokovic will both surpass him.

Do you know in how many matches (of the zillion he played) Fed retired during the match? Do you know in how many he withdrew before the match started? Please check the stats (not to mention compare that to similar stats of other member of big 3 or big 4) before opening your mouth.
