I am surprised Ruud actually defended his final points given his form coming in to this slam. I am hoping the Ruud actually shows up to the final and puts up a decent fight. I would love for him to win and surprise Novak. Novak can have Wimbledon.
Ruud and Alcaraz are both stand up guys. I like both of them. I

Congratulations to Djokovic on winning the French open as Casper has zero chance in the final. Hopefully, Djokovic won’t need to use fake strategic timeouts to disrupt Casper’s rhythm well and that he will win with dignity.

Give Casper some credit. This will be his 2nd RG final, so there's that monkey off his back, and he's super-solid on the clay. One thing he can do is make Novak work for it.

My word. I just wrapped up work for the day and what has happened to this place. Both SF matches are over?

No changing yet, but maybe the lack of a Spaniard in the final will give Casper a boost. I would love to be surprised on Sunday and see Casper at least with a RG trophy.

Did you see his post match interview on the court? he already has lost the final, he has zero belief.

Davydenko talking about how this generation has no technical skills other than hitting harder than in his time.

Zverev relied on retrieving ( moved well relative to someone of his height) ie defensive skills with good power on his groundies.

The crown prince couldn’t adjust to a player that was just as steady from the baseline , the question that was asked about Tsitsipas applies to him, what does he work on now? He’s never developed a genuine transition game for more aggressive play to end a point. Its almost as if he has the opposite technical challenge to Tsitsipas, though they both need to upgrade from paper maiche ones to brass ones…
