I didn't see that, about Rafa, but I went out. Still, if there was more than you and Fiero to hold up the other side, it might not be mostly Rafa fans. (I don't mention Don Fabio, because he also thinks Rafa is amazing. :lulz1: )
Sides, sides, always sides!

I too think Rafa is amazing, I just don't think it needs to be said again and again and again, in every possible thread and context.

Anyhow, I'm sorry for Carlos, but he'll have plenty more chances.

Carlos was doing a lot more running here than he had in his previous matches. It took a toll.
I knew his return game would have to be 'on' still I thought he was getting the better of Novak, pushing him back off the baseline during the later part of the 2nd set
BTW Novak played a flawless 1set of tennis

Carlos is a strong kid, with great movement and excellent mechanics. I think part of it was being up against one of the big 3 on this stage for the first time. The way Novak was playing crap all clay season, I thought the youngster would have won it.

I said from the start of this tournament dont underestimate Novak at RG, playing crap before RG, he knows how to win GS, paces himself well and plays his best tennis when he has to, he has done that, champions always rise at the right time

Let's hope Zverev wins the SF as I feel that he has a better chance against Novak since he has beaten him many times unlike Ruud. But I give Zverev 30% of beating Djokovic and Ruud maybe 20%, so at the end it probably won't make a difference.

Lessons to be learned. He's got to learn to hydrate, and to pace himself. Hopefully he gets past this cramping issue soon.

Let's hope tomorrow that he doesn't take another 10 minute break to disrupt his opponent's rhythm, because I wouldn't qualify this as "'paces himself well" and "champions always rise at the right time" but rather as cheating and dishonesty.

I was talking about the whole tournament, not one match, I also said if a player was going to beat Novak it would have to be early in the tournament before his gets his rhythm? and that is what happended

Look, I know you do, but you also realize that basically all of the Fed fans quit posting on the tennis forums here but you, (and Front, who drops in to talk about betting odds and to give Novak a hard time about his potions,) and Fiero, who is a Novak man. Nehmeth also only drops in once in a while. Only Nadal fans left, basically, and then somebody cries because they have to hear so much Nadal adulation. I'm sure you can remember when this forum was hugely dominated by Roger fans. The one I can understand is why we don't have more Novak fans anymore.

Ruud will have close to 0% chance to win agree about Zverev he should have his chances still I don't remember Sacha beating Novak on GS.

Well, let's see if he can back up his claim that he thinks he can win this tournament, or thought he had a good shot last year, anyway.

Zverev has made a full 180 from a year ago. It’s been nice to see the quality he’s shown in his matches. That said, I think Ruud has had an outstanding tournament. He surprised me the way he beat Rune like a drum. I was expecting the match to be closer with Rune winning.

I'm surprised at bookies odds, they have Ruud and Zverev at 50:50. I feel like Zverev is a favorite, more like 65:35, something like that.

Not only once but twice, screaming like it was a fifth set tiebreak. Totally classless.
Compare how he behaved versus how Rafa behaved last year with Zverev... Rafa was more gutted for Zverev being injured then he was about making the final... It's embarrassing behaviour from Djokovic and a high % of his fans :lol6:

I actually don't remember that...was the forum dominated by Roger fans? I remember it being more balanced, but that's all.

To be honest, I just don't think Novak has as many fans! Haha.
