Novak celebrating a little loudly. It’s bad taste. He pretends to be injured so often, he has absolutely no sympathy or understanding of what players who are actually suffering go through..

Oh please! Carlos was pulling the same $#!t after his comeback! It's all unneccessary IMO; the primal screams, the fist clenching, and stare downs!

This just reminds me of what Rafa says, like you put yourself in a position and then anything can happen. This year Novak clearly not at his best on clay, but he kept digging and improved and look where that got him, he is with one foot in the final. Maybe he learned a thing from Rafa, especially the Rafa from the last year in RG.
Same can be said for Zverev and Ruud, both of whom were struggling all year before this tournament.

Novak seems to think that fake injuries are all part of the game, that’s why he acts like he doesn’t understand..

I love how this thread has become people complaining about Novak, and talking about how amazing Rafa is. Typical of the Rafa Frontier Forums. :face-with-tears-of-joy:
I didn't see that, about Rafa, but I went out. Still, if there was more than you and Fiero to hold up the other side, it might not be mostly Rafa fans. (I don't mention Don Fabio, because he also thinks Rafa is amazing. :lulz1: )

Well, it's a shame we didn't get the match we were hoping for. It was thrilling for 2 sets.

@Fiero: Novak's "injuries" will be taken seriously when he ever suffers a consequence of them. His forehand was faster in the 2nd set, during which supposedly he was bothered by his right arm, than it was in the first set. And then, never another sign of it. Even my commentators noted that.

Why can't one tennis pundit grow some and call him out on his fake injury bs? It's shameful faking injury.
