Someone as naturally gifted as Stefano, is he willing to put in the hours for specific drills to address the subpar aspects of his game?
That's the only way and I mean blood, sweat and tears. Extreme hard work, not some half attempts that he is probably doing for the past few years.

BTW taking melatonin before matches Stefanos isnt a good idea? you cant sleep walk through matches at Roland Garros, live and learn, I dont know who suggested to you this was a good idea in the first place, as you stated I have to stop taking naps before matches

What happened to Novaks wrist? Did you check your source? I haven’t seen any mention of this anywhere..

Sorry guys, it was just a joke!! Which is your team?
I need to read your posts closer, I’m not getting the jokes! :lulz1:

You’re up for City? My team is Leeds, currently packing their suitcases and departing the Premier League Hotel. This goes way back to my eldest bro who followed Leeds because the great John Giles played for them, a magnificent Irish player. I don’t like anything to do with Pep, tiki taka, Barcelona, or dodgy Saudi royal families owning football clubs in Europe..

Sad for Leeds. Leeds played excellent football, especially under Bielsa, who is tactically rigid. City are untouchable currently, and Inter will have their work cutout for them. Inter are dangerous themselves, and have been unplayable of late, but City are favorites.

This is going to be very difficult, Man City peaked on purpose only for this, premier league was secondary this year for them, at least it looked like that, but they won it anyway.

Odds are the same for Man City and Alcaraz, they are favorites, about 1.45-1.50.

Did he seriously say that??
I won't even began to speak on his behalf because I'm not a fan, but maybe his brain is rationalizing this:
- Exceptional = The 3rd set score would have been 6-2 or a bakery product
- Great = The fact that he was able to break back and get it to a TB

I think "rationalizing" is the key...he has to abate the damage done to fragile ego by such a beatdown, so he reduces the size of his opponent on the other side?

Zverev won the first set with one break; Etcheverry just got a break in the 2nd - 4-2.

I’’m pumped because this upcoming SF of Alcaraz/Djokovic is a big deal.
Yes, Carlos is the top seed, and yes he’s rightfully favored but Alcaraz still has this hill to climb.

The real test for Alcaraz is now, taking this all time champ out mano a mano in a BO5 Grand Slam match in the latter stages of a Major. No disrespect but Novak ain’t Casper Ruud.

There is pressure, because this is THE moment to strike and kill the King. A Grandslam is a different animal.and a match here separates a man from the boys.

Rafa did it to Federer as a teen back in the 2005 FO SF.

I think Carlos is more than up for the challenge but there is alot at stake. A whole friggin generation of pretenders have not been up to the task; The Crown Princes certainly havent done it, Theim couldnt do it, (only Medvedev). Carlos knows it and Novak knows it and Ferrero knows it.

Novak may be an aging champ but his mentality is “Take this crown over my dead body but better make sure I’m dead or I’ll come get you Bastard.”

Of course now i can’t get the Monty Python scene out of my brain…..

Carlos has nothing to be afraid of. He is in the zone, he's got all the tools. If he comes out and executes like he normally does he is going to win. Novak will try everything to make him feel uncomfortable and will fight with all he has at the moment, but it doesn't look enough to me. Alcaraz is too fast with everything he does on the court. Novak is ready for the taking, the only question is how he goes down, probably in 4 sets.

Yeah I think it’s a mountain for Carlos. He may skip up and over it, but Novak has great experience, exceptional mental toughness and physical conditioning, and a powerful tennis intellect. He won’t panic, he won’t surrender and go away, and he won’t stop trying to disrupt his opponent. Like I said before, he’ll cheat, steal and borrow to win this match, if he has to.

Victory will bring him back to number one, it’ll be 3 career slams, and a record number of GS titles. Carlos is up against it - not Novak…
