Foki trying to change direction had a heavy fall at the back of the court, appears to be okay now

Why does Goran look so long-suffering in this match? Tired of getting yelled at?

Foki really should be up 2 sets to love. If a top player is vulnerable, you have to take advantage of those opportunities and crush them. Otherwise, they'll only play better because they are winning the match even w/ their worst game. But this is what separates the greats from the others.

Novak's getting a real workout today! ADF's giving him all he wants and more! A couple points here or there, Novak might be down 0-2! It took almost 3 hours to get thru those 2 TB'n sets! It just proves these newbies can steal a BO3 match at times, but get them at a major where it's BO5, Djokovic has a distinct advantage! It's one thing to stay on the tour for 20+ years; it's another to survive and still be at the top! Djokovic is writing another chapter of excellence it seems! Med had his chance! Let's see if Carlito can hold him off! At Wimbledon, the points go back into rotation! The crowd in Paris is being affected by any & every thing! JERKS! :sneezing-face: :fearful-face::astonished-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Yep. The facial expressions and body language in his box are not good. They’ve been like that the whole clay season.

I like Fokina a lot. He didn’t execute when Novak’s game was going to crap. Some super points, but not a good match from either of them really.

Novak will take it; "winning ugly" if you say so! :exploding-head: :thinking-face::astonished-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Magneto Djokovic… the arch villain. Good thing it’s not the 70’s (vision of T2000 flying out of Connors’ hands)
Brett Haber: "What is that thing?"
Courier: "It's a Tao patch. The Tao of Novak. I don't know."
Haber: "OK, we'll roll our eyes privately at the break."

Novak's never met a magic potion he wouldn't embrace, but vaccination? No way. Body = Temple.

Fokina is a descent player. He gave Djokovic a good run for his money.

Minutes ago, Djokovic was talking to Becker on Eurosport Deutsch. The Serbian said the longer the matches get, the better he becomes. He expressed disappointment with people who boo him when he double faults, but quickly qualified that by saying only the minority treats him that way.

Djokovic just outlasts and outpushes his opponents until they break mentally or physically, he never gives a “good match”. He’s one of the main reasons why many fans are leaving tennis for pickleball.

Schartzman is getting blown off the court by Tsitsipas, Tsitsipas 62 62
I read Schwartman presser saying that if he has another year like this one he will consider retiring, he is 30 now, sad to say Diego hasnt got the tools in his tool box to worry Tsitsipas

He’s slower and at 5’7” he’s paying for that. He’s not a real threat to upset anyone now.

Watched a few games of Alcaraz v Shapo, Alcaraz 1st set 61, too painful to watch Shapo at this level, when he learns how to slide on clay, improves his movement on clay, he might just play better, for starters.
