Novak’s been in this place so many times. It’s hard to believe he still gets nervy, but it’s part of the package. He should be more relaxed from here on out.Novak's movement has improved since the 1st set, he was a step behind before the TB
When I read big reset there I thought of this prick....Ruud needs a big reset in set 2. His failure to keep ahead in set 1 after securing the break is his downfall. The only thing that may help him is if he can make this a war of attrition.
I am not surprised he was nervy, regardless of how many GS titles he has won, playing for another GS title for Novak he has a lot on the line as well., chasing historyNovak’s been in this place so many times. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he went into the US Open with another chance at the calendar GS.I am not surprised he was nervy, regardless of how many GS titles he has won, playing for another GS title for Novak he has a lot on the line as well.
Same.It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he went into the US Open with another chance at the calendar GS.
A lot of commies are saying the same thing, though Novak at the USO he dosent have a good record thereIt wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he went into the US Open with another chance at the calendar GS.
Me too. However, it wouldn't surprise me that he fails at trying again, but there is no shame in that. Calendar GS is extremely difficult. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he went into the US Open with another chance at the calendar GS.
Ruud at present is playing to Novaks rhythm he has to go back to mixing things up more,Ruud has gone back to passive play and that isn’t going to do anything against Novak.
He came out firing and put his opponent on the defensive. Novak righted the ship. Hard not to have a letdown.Ruud is beginning to seem as if he’s already given up …
Ruud has to go back what he was doing in the 1st set, he cant hit through Novak, other players have the same problem lol!You can’t play baseline tennis with Novak unless you are someone like Medvedev or Nadal who can go toe to toe with him there. Everyone else has to mix it up or lure him into having to make smashes at key match junctures lol.
He played a good first set IMO. But it still fell short. You have to be near perfect. "Redlining" used to be the phrase chucked around.Ruud has to go back what he was doing in the 1st set, he cant hit through Novak, other players have the same problem lol!
